bites and rashes

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and this randomly appeared on my stomach at work tonight ( it started off purple like a bruise but is now red swollen and blotchy/hot) does anyone know what would cause this ? Or has anyone had something similar.

    Looks like a spider bite?  I have had a few in my time and they always turn purple and take forever to go away.

    YOU NEED TO CALL YOUR OB about this, though.  I am only going off the picture; you should be checked out by a medical professional!!!!
