I picked SS. I'm somewhere between the two no options. I won't see my ob for another week and a half. Right now I still feel a little of down there, but it's getting better all the time. I'm hoping I'll be ready and willing by then.

I was so ready I had to convince DH it was okay! After the c-section and having my tubes tied he was anxious!!!

My libido is back after being completely dead the entire 3rd tri; however, I am way too scared to did due to my episiotomy, which still hurts. I won't have my ob appt until 7 weeks pp so I'm hoping that helps. Last time I was able to make it to almost 8 weeks before DH finally asked for it.

Also, just a tip… I found this moisturizer super helpful last time, during the first few weeks, when everything was pretty dry down there from giving birth:

SS - Had my 6 week appointment today and probably will be going for it tonight!

I'm not really in the mood yet, but DH has been so looking forward to it and he even took over from 1-4 am last night since baby didn't go back down right away after his first night feed. I wonder if he remembered my appointment and had ulterior motives... It worked either way I guess!

I am looking forward to it. Pregnancy killed my sex drive. I think the last time we had sex was like early July...yeah...

I think it's a little bit different though because I had a c-section so no trauma to my lady parts. If I had any pain in my vaginal area I would be scared to death to let DH near me. I will probably want to be on top for a while (which I am sure he won't mind) because I will be nervous about him putting pressure on my incision.

First things first, I need to muster up the time and energy to shave my legs. They are rivaling DH at this point...

My OB does the post-partum checkup at 4 weeks, not 6, and he didn't say anything about sex and I forgot to ask...

As much as I enjoy intimacy with H, I just don't feel ready.

Right? Not to mention ladytown being a mess but I'm not getting a razor anywhere near that incision.

I voted rusty pole but I'm not cleared anyway. I tried telling DH it was 6 months not 6 weeks but he is smarter than that. My poor DH.

DH and I attempted once we got the all clear but it was just too painful. I had a 3rd degree tear so I'm worried I'll never want to again.

I'm ready but not cleared until 6 weeks. Dr.said bleeding should stop at 6 weeks. I'm 5 1/2 weeks and still bleeding, not a lot but still using pads. Here's to hoping it just suddenly stops.

Been waiting for this thread...sort of ready. Haven't totally stopped bleeding yet, so there's that. and am only 4 weeks 2 days PP. I did have a tear, no worse than otehr two times, so I know the first time will be uncomfortable and kind of want to get that over with and move on.

All that aside...I'm not sure WHEN we would do it! I'm so freaking tired like all the rest of us. If you've DTD, when did you do it??

I'm 5.5 weeks postpartum and feel like I could swing it. It's like a science experiment! I'm very curious how it will be. I didn't tear this time and everything feels pretty normal. After my first, sex hurt for like a year. I don't think it will be like that this time.

WORST NIGHTMARE.

I told DH last night that I have never in my life been more afraid of getting pregnant. Reality yo!

I just keep hoping he will forget that we even have sex. We dtd once at the end of my pregnancy to try to get the ball rolling on labor and it was seriously the most uncomfortable and painful sex of my life. I hope I faked everything well.

I was just huge and the angle was messed up or something haha. honestly, I don't think it could be worse now than that time... But I have zero desire, not to mention zero energy to even try. I'd so much rather just sleep.
