When it comes to my kids, their heads are either toward my left (if on the changing table) or feet toward me (anywhere else).
At work I just change the baby so that the drawer under the hospital crib is in front of me. Often that means the baby's head is to my right. It doesn't feel as natural, but I'm too lazy to turn the baby around. Plus, I'm getting more comfortable changing a baby in whatever position. That's a good skill in my profession.
Lately it is left forearm square across his hips with my weight pinning him down otherwise he flips over and refuses to have his new diaper put on, sigh!
When we lived in the apartment I mostly changed her on the floor since her changing table was upstairs and that was feet facing me. But now it's always on the table and I am right handed and her head is to the left.

Why oh why did I hang pictures above his changing table. He thinks it's funny to kick them off the wall. Funnier when I tell him "no!"
Also have issues with T messing with the painting above her changing table.
