  • @maybejoleisa thanks for the check-in!

where are you in your ttcal journey?  ivf cycle #1- day 12 of stims

any appts? us in the morning where they will hopefully tell me to trigger

QOTW: been enjoying walking dead week by week...we are currently binging on Dexter and about to start the newest season of homeland.

AFM- monitoring on Sunday didn't go so well...they only saw 2 follies that were "good" and the RE told me he didn't expect to see anymore get big enough...fast forward to yesterday where he saw FOUR (which is good news now...if you had told me 4 two weeks ago I would have cried)...I was supposed to trigger today but they didn't see enough growth in my 2 big follies however a smaller one had really taken off.  I'm terrified of losing my big follies...so ready to trigger!!! I go back in the am.

  • Thanks for the check-in Maybe Joleisa!

@bunnybun4‌ fx that you trigger tomorrow and ultimately end up with 4 beautiful embies! Keeping you in my thoughts!

AFM, I did get a positive OPK last week and ovulated on Friday. I've been having virtually non-stop cramping since O so I feel like it's going to be another super short LP. I'm 6dpo right now and thinking AF will come this weekend. If it does, I'll be scheduling an appointment and pushing for meds.

QOTW: I've been binge watching Pretty Little Liars on Netflix. I have a friend who is obsessed with the show so I gave it a shot, and while I didn't particularly like it at first, I also felt the need to find out where it was going so I just kept watching and watching and watching.... A month later and I'm still watching

  • Thanks for the check in!!!!

OBGYN appt went well. She took labs and besides my prolactin being on the high side everything seems normal. She wants me to loose weight and I have been struggling with that but time to hunker down. She also suggested starting an OPK do I started the next day and got a + (this was on the first day after my period so a little odd). On CD16, so at least another week before testing.

QOTW- I started watching True Blood. I've read all of the books so I am excited to get the seasons going.

I love Target like with a passion. I visited the baby section for the first time since T passed and didn't lose it. Big accomplishment for me.

Keeping all of you ladies in my thoughts! Thank you for welcoming me into this group.

Where are you in your TTCAL journey? Cycle 4, CD1 (Boo!). Planning to TTA until January.

Do you have any upcoming relevant appointments? Nope

QOTW: I'm running out of TTCAL-related QOTW, so what you have been binge-watching on TV recently? Recently just finished watching Brothers and Sisters, also Parenthood over the summer. Also just finished the last season of HIMYM - so disappointed in the finale!

Open Topic: What is on your mind this week? I was so hoping this cycle would be it. My temps were weird, so I felt I couldn't really trust them, and thought AF was going to show days ago, but then never did. She usually shows up between 10 and 12DPO, and today was 13DPO and I was so hoping to get to take a test this morning. But no. Now we are *planning* to TTA for two cycles to avoid baby possibly sharing a birth month with Colton. This could change, we've already talked about maybe trying this cycle and skipping next, so we'll see. I had really hoped to be pregnant by the holidays, cause they sucked so bad last year, and I wanted to have something to be excited about.
Now I'm trying to tell myself at least I won't be sick with worry and sick with morning sickness at Christmas time, so that's a plus, right?

@bunnybun4‌ : So close to triggering! I hope you have beautiful, mature eggs at your ER.

@CheesyPeas‌ : When we first started TTC I took vitamin B6 to lengthen my LP and it worked. (Obviously that wasn't our issue, but can say we've tried just about everything.) I have a frien obsessed with PLL, too. I'm adding it to my list!

@jenn.schott: Luckily you did not procrastinate and started OPKs right away--GL this cycle! I loved reading the Sookie Book series--probably more than watching True Blood even--but it is a great series. Enjoy!

@stefuge: Boo for CD 1. Hormones may change your TTA or TTC plans at any time; sounds like you are leaving yourself open to that happening.

  • Where are you in your TTCAL journey? It feels like cycle 1,000,000. Transfer should be right after Thanksgiving.

Do you have any upcoming relevant appointments? Lining check next week.

QOTW: I'm running out of TTCAL-related QOTW, so what you have been binge-watching on TV recently? We just finished Game of Thrones. I was SO surprised that I loved this series! Anxiously awaiting Orange is the New Black to come back on. Just started watching Ray Donovan...s'alright.

Open Topic: What is on your mind this week? How sad I will be if I am not pregnant this cycle, because then I'll be going in the boys angelversary in January even more sad and hopeless. No pressure there, huh?

  • So, I just got an email from my OB, and I needed to vent some anxiety. Apparently she is moving and will be done seeing patients here by the first of the year. I totally appreciate her contacting me to let me know, but I could barely sleep last night, I'm feeling so anxious now. After our loss, I really struggled with staying with her, or finding a new doctor, and after a really good talk with her early this year,
decided to stay with her, and now it doesn't matter. We had talked over what another pregnancy would look like, she knows my history and everything we have been through with both of our boys' pregnancies, and finding another doctor feels overwhelming, especially since we are hoping to be pregnant again soon. I know I just need to calm down, it will be fine, we'll find another doctor, and at least I'm not pregnant right now, because that would be even more stressful, but still. I don't like this. Ok, there. Vent over. Thanks for listening.

  • @stefuge: Sorry for your OB's untimely move. Maybe you can ask her for a recommendation of another doctor in the area?
