I found out today that my grandpa has stage 4 cancer. In his lungs and now spreading through to his kidneys. The part that really gets my goat is that he's been complaining of stomach pain for over 2 years now, and it took them this long to figure it out. He's been given a year to live and I just wish they had taken him more seriously when he originally started talking to his doctor. I feel like they should have diagnosed this way sooner. So they will be attempting to treat it with chemo until it can no longer be repressed or he's no longer comfortable. My grandma was already talking about palitive care. It's really hard to not grieve like he's already gone. They live 3 hours away, so DH and I are starting to think about how we can travel their way more so we can spend as much time with him as possible.

We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013. We love her to pieces.
We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011. She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.
