Ok girls I'm putting this out there because it has helped me so much!
The best book I've found over the last 5 weeks to help with breastfeeding is Breastfeeding Made Simple Seven Natural Laws for Nursing Mothers by Nancy Mohrbacher & Kathleen Kendall-Tackett.
This book explains so much about the science of breastfeeding, how to do it, how to get baby to latch, solving issues, pumping advice, etc. It's very pro-breastfeeding (obviously) but if that's your goal no matter how long you want to breastfeed, get this book.
I can't say enough good things about how much it helped me. I was only able to breastfeed my son for 3 weeks so it was really important to me to try everything I could this time around. I've now gone almost 6 weeks and I've gotten my daughter to latch to me without the use of a nipple shield (which we had to use in the beginning).
I hope this will help some of you if you're looking for advice or resources.
