Fetal Movement

When should I worry about fetal movement? Last time I worried for a day and than I rushed to the hospital, just to find out my twins moved and we're facing each other! So when I stimulated them, they were hitting each other! (Already the sibling rivalry lol!) but so that doesn't happen again, how long should I wait?

    Well there are days when I think I'm feeling one less but when I really pay attention I can see/feel movement, it's just different that day (presumably because they have moved). And sure enough a day or too later they are back to kicking the bejeebus out of me. If you truly cannot feel or do not think you are feeling anything at all, I'd drink or eat something and lay down (and poke and prod if you need to) and if you don't feel anything for an hour, call. I wouldn't wait days.

    Agree w/ PP, there are times I realize I haven't felt much movement in hours , and lay down to make sure to get movement. A lot of times it's just cause im up moving around & not thinking about movement. My girls are always much more active when I'm sitting (or at least from what I can tell). If you lay down & are not getting the movement within the hour, after drinking cold drinks/sugary drink & have poked & prodded, id call & get checked.
