What camera do you have?

Possibly looking into a new camera for Christmas..our last one(sony cybershot) is 3 years old and does ok, but just looking for something a little better. I'd prefer not to get one that I have to change the lenses on, so I guess more of a point and shoot type.

This is the one DH got me for my birthday. It takes really good photos, I just need to get a good SD card for it so I can start using it more often. I need some higher quality shots that what I get with my iPhone.

Even though you CAN change the lenses, doesn't mean you have to. I have a Nikon D3100 and although I do have an additional lens, I typically stick with the one it came with. It's an amazing camera, I can't rave enough about it!

Agree with the 2 ladies above about the Nikon. Sure, I've got a 2nd lens. Doesn't mean I put it on and use it all that often. I love the pictures I'm able to take with it. It's almost like I know what I'm doing (that photography class I took 12 years ago is a distant memory at this point).

Sony NEX-5N.

I love it. We got it right before DS was born. It's a point and shoot but has the option to add lenses if need or want to use.

I have a canon t2i that I got a few years ago. It's awesome. You'll want a zoom lens later when LO is starting to do activities. I use mine frequently at soccer games, dance recitals, gymnastics meets, etc.

I have a Canon PowerShot S95 and love it! We bought it in 2011 when DD was born. The photos come out really clear and it's easy to use. We still use it all the time.
