Anyone have any experience with rounded/protruding foreheads? Dr says no medical concern is causing it, so I just worry from a cosmetic level. I thought that some babies just have big foreheads and they fade, but now after analyzing every baby/child's forehead I see now I'm not so sure. Poor girl will always need bangs and can never wear a hat!
Here are a few pics to show what I'm talking about. Pay no attention to the fact LO is drinking a beer in one!
Re: Rounded/protruding forehead?
@TyrannosaurusLex I think I'm ok with the dr's assessment. Because of her large head size in general and gross motor delays, they had us do a head ultrasound, which revealed some benign extra fluid. We also saw a neurosurgeon (mainly for the terrible flat spot she used to have -- luckily it's improved a ton on its own) and, granted he looked at her head for about 2 seconds, said he wasn't concerned about her head shape as long as the ultrasound was normal.
@JoyBaby5 I don't think anyone in our family has a forehead like that. Maybe DH's is a little big and mine is a little wide? But no rounded ones as far as I've noticed.
