Let's hear 'em! I always used to roll my eyes whenever someone would post on Facebook to vote for their kid for some photo contest. I thought it was annoying and like they were being an AW. Then my mom told me about the Gerber photo contest, where your child can either win $5000 in their age group or a grand prize of $50,000, and I entered my kids. Now I'll be the AW posting "vote for my kids" on Facebook. Also, there's a miniscule chance they will win (I think there's over 160,000 entries) but I still think they should because they're the cutest ones ;)

    DS locked himself in the room in the dark and I couldn't get him out for 15 mins :(( It was horrible. My dad had to come over. Luckily he lives down the the street and was off. I think this officially takes me out of the running for Moty 2014

    This is such a second child thing.  With DS, DH caught me doing the 'let's just wipe this bit of poo off your onesie and you are good to go' thing when DS's diaper overflowed onto the onesie.  I never would have done that with DD....

    So scary! I'm glad everything is ok. Dads are the best!
    ETA: that could have happened to anyone. You're still a great momma.

    I still give R a bottle at night with step 3 formula. Everyone tells me not to and just let him cry so that he'll get used to it.
    Sorry. Nope this is what works for us and I'm not about letting him CIO. I'm not dumb and know he's not starving but let me raise my kid the way I want! My family, my rules.

    I'll post another one since the board is slow. I always thought I wanted 3 kids and I know DH would actually like more, so I'm sure we will have a 3rd. But sometimes I wish we were done after 2. I have a boy and a girl like I always wanted, they are super cute and healthy, and I am already sort of overwhelmed with the laundry and work of caring for 2 kids, adding a 3rd just seems exhausting.

    However, I know the first year with a new baby is not a good time to make permanent decisions about having more children and we are not planning on doing 2u2 again, so it probably wouldn't be as bad.
