"Sprinkle" gift suggestions

Ok, I'll start off by saying that I think "sprinkles" are tacky, and I really don't think we need gifts, but of course I'm grateful that DH's family wants to do this for us.

We are expecting DS2 in January, and DS1 will be 2 at the end of this month. DH's family keeps asking what we need for DS2 because they want to get us something. At first they wanted to do a shower, and I declined as graciously as I could, but they're still saying that they want to do some gifts at Thanksgiving.

DH's sister, then cousin, then other cousin keep asking what we "need" for DS2, and I told them we don't need anything. I said maybe diapers. I've already bought a used double stroller, and I can't think of anything else we need.

We will be getting new bedding for DS1 since we'll be transitioning him to a full size bed, and DS1 needs clothes, but we don't need anything for DS2 since he'll be using all of DS1's hand-me-downs.

Any ideas of other things we would "need" for DS2, or should I just keep saying, "It's really sweet of you, but I can't think of anything we need"?

    Just keep saying you don't need anything.

    @MotherofPearl85, they haven't explicitly said that they're doing a sprinkle, but they just say, "Well, we would still like to buy some things, and we need suggestions!"

    I guess I'll just keep saying thanks, but I can't think of anything we need.

    I did think about a second video monitor, but our house is small, and I don't know how much longer we'll need to be spying on DS1.

    Ok, thanks for the advice! I think they'll probably buy things, regardless of how much I insist that we don't need anything. So maybe a second video monitor is a good idea and a special blanket since DS1 will not be ready to hand his down.

    What about a ring sling or carrier? I never wore DS1 but I wear DS2 all the time. My coworkers all pitched in and got me a Beco.

    @SpitsNGiggles‌, I have a Beco that I used with DS, and I plan to use it again. I loved that thing!

    Yeah, that's what I'm saying. That's more of a personal item, which is why we'll get DS2 his own.

    @PrivacyWanted‌, good idea about going through the clothes. Right now they're in the attic and I'm lazy, but I think/hope there's enough. I plan to get them down and go through them and wash them in a few weeks, but maybe I should do that a little earlier.
