    I'm getting a massage tomorrow morning, and I'm getting conflicting messages on what is expected/appropriate in the undergarment category. I was thinking nude or a thong, but what do you do?

    I always wear underwear, but that's mostly just because that's what I'm comfortable with.  A lot of my friends go butt naked, so that's acceptable too!

    I wear a thong during massages. I feel covered enough for my comfort level. I'm weird paranoid - if I have to suddenly run out of there (fire, earthquake, tornado, etc) people aren't seeing all my business.

    I only have gotten one massage, ever. ... that was by my sister in law. I went naked. She even massaged my butt. Lol

    I'd probably go with underwear and no ass massage from a stranger though.

    I go naked regardless even if it's a dude or they do the side of my butt. I prefer it not to be in the way or get bunched up because then that's all I would be concentrating on.

    I have to wear panties, just a personal preference. They're not going to be massaging my butt. I'm not even a big fan of them massaging my legs, usually it just tickles too much. All of the places I've gone say it's up to you how much you wish to undress. You will be covered by a sheet.

    I voted SS because I have never had a full body massage!!! Oh, the humanity.
    I think I will be arranging one before this baby comes.......

    I would probably keep some kind of underwear on.

    I have done both, depending on my comfort level with massage therapist or their directions. I was always nude in Europe, sometimes here....
    Enjoy! I hope you get a great massage, but if not- try another place. My last groupon massage was couples. My therapist would not apply pressure for me (male), hubby got a deep tissue he hated from female- they should have switched, because they didnt listen to us...
    eta- not all massages are the same.

    I went nude, but I think next time I will wear underwear. She had me lay on my side so it was a little weird. It was an okay massage, but my first side was sore again when it was over from laying on it.

    My sister in law is a massage therapist and she says most of her clients wear underwear but it's not a huge deal if they're nude either.
