Re: How often do you bathe your baby?

  • Full baths on Mondays and Thursdays only, but I wash his hair in the sink every night to stay on top of cradle cap build up.

  • I bathe her daily ONLY because she LOVES bath time so it's my favorite thing to do with her. There are some nights where I don't bathe her but it's maybe one time a week.
  • Dude gets a washcloth bath before bed every night. (Gotta get that neck cheese!) and because he loves baths so much, I've been bathing him in the tub every other day. He's got a ton of hair so it gets oily unless washed.
  • We bath lo 2-3 times a week. It wasn't until the last couple weeks he stopped screaming and enjoys it. The transition from bath to getting dressed makes him pretty mad though.
  • We get as-needed baths between our 2-3 a week. But generally 2-3. His skin tends to dry out.
  • We do daily as part of bedtime routine. His hair gets washed every night but I'm starting to only use soap on his body every other day to help with dry skin.

  • We do every night usually but I only bathe her every other and wash her hair about every three days. She loves to sit while I pour the warm water over her. Hates getting dressed afterwards though!
  • Everyday. I have skipped a few if we stay out to late but then she will get wiped off. She loves the bath!
  • I do every other day and might switch to daily. He has lots and lots of hair and take after his sweaty parents, so he gets really oily.

  • We do daily but only use soap every other night. Bath time and pj's are a big cue that's it's time to go to sleep.

My kiddo hated the transition from bath to clothes also... I started plugging in the hair dryer before I bathe him and lay him on a thick towel (wrapped in his towel) after his bath to dry him with warm heat. He loves it and he stopped fussing during the transition.
  • I bathe my DS twice a week, and after poopsplosions :) he loves baths, and I have a few big baby towels that have hoods and wrap around him. That way he can get nice and dry before I dress him.
  • Nightly as part of bedtime routine. She loves baths, plus has a ton of hair that gets really greasy unless it gets washed.

  • LO gets a bath nightly. Part of our bedtime routine. He loves taking a bath so much he always smiles and keep kicks his little legs, so cute.

I would have never thought of that! I will definitely be trying that. Thanks!
  • Every day. He spits up allll the time and by the end of the day he stinks. Like real bad!

Atleast he loves his baths and so I really don't mind doing it every day.

  • I was doing every day because he spits up so much and smells sour. But his skin is getting so dry so I'm trying every other with sponge baths.
  • dS2 just got his first bath in nearly 2 weeks. Poor second child. He's not a spitter, and he usually gets a wash cloth bath on face/neck and diaper area more often, but actual bath I. The tub? I'm lazy, it happens when we remember to.

  • Every other day as part of her bedtime routine. Our water is harsh and every night was too hard on her skin. To be honest, I still stink at bath time. We use a little plastic tub you place in the big tub which props her up, but it's filled with soapy water at the end and I'm not sure how to rinse her (the tub doesn't drain). So I end up awkwardly holding her slippery naked body outside of the full baby tub while I try to rinse her with the flowing water. It feels like dropping her is inevitable.
