How many NB diapers should you get? How many AIO diapers should I get for after the NB, how many inserts per one diaper! So many questions!!

I think Alva makes AIO now. It's new.

I like my pockets. I have no complaints. I only wonder about their quality after long term use. Time will tell.

The pocket covers are great... the inserts aren't so much, but you can use flats or prefolds.

other pro: price
con: china made if that bothers you. Most other brands have some sort of certification for lead free etc. Alvas don't certify this.

I think you are confusing AIO with OS.
AIO= all in one. A style of diaper that is all one piece.

OS= one size. A diaper that can be adjusted to fit, usually from about 10-35lbs. Can be any type of diaper, a fitted, an AIO, a pocket, or cover.

Alvas are mostly known for their pocket diapers, but are making lots of other types now too. Their pockets are very good for the price. I personally think that they are pretty good diapers, but would rather spend a couple dollars more for a kawaii pocket instead. They are just a little more durable, and easier to stuff with some nice features like the flap so the inserts can't stick out.
