Forgive me if this was already talked about...I couldn't find a thread. Does anyone have recommendations of where to get a comfortable, cheap maternity jacket/coat/shawl/something to keep me warm but that will be flexible enough to wear post-pregnancy for a while also? I only have a couple more weeks left and was trying to avoid buying anything else, but it's now 30 degrees outside and I have no sweaters, coats, or closed-toed shoes that fit! Ahhh! Oh that gives me another question for STMs...how long before your feet went back to normal size if they did at all? Should I bother buying boots a size up or just wait and deal with sandals for a while?
Re: Maternity Winter Wear
Lol - I am a FTM but I haven't even attempted to wear my boots yet. Not because they don't fit, but because I am too lazy to bend over to zip or slide them on. So flats it is!!
Going up a couple sizes in a thrift store coat could work, maybe?

As for a coat I refused to buy a new one so I have been wearing my husbands hunting coat. It is so warm that I don't care if I look like a bag of leaves. Of course I live in Wisconsin where it is exceptable to wear cameo in public.
If your husbands coat is not an option Oldnavy had one I almost considered but I'm due 12/1 so I really didn't want to spend the money for a few weeks.
BFP#1: 2/2/13 ~ exact m/c date unknown but around 3/20 at 10 weeks ~ diagnosed with PMP ~ D&C on 4/5 ~ TTA for at least 1 year due to PMP ~ cleared to TTC 1/14
BFP#2: 2/7/14 ~ m/c 2/20/14 ~ possibly due to chemical pregnancy ~ TG no D&C is needed
Surprise BFP#3: 4/4/14 ~ super duper extra happy (and nervous) about this one - EDD 12/9/14!!!
John Joseph was born on 12/12/14 at 7 lbs. 11 oz. He is the most beautiful rainbow baby we could have wished for!
Camo is acceptable where I live too
Tights =/= pants so I think your shirt should cover your butt.
The scary swollen feet effect started this week for me--sticking with my danskos for now, but I wish I could wear boots. I don't handle the cold well, and I'm already feeling like I don't have appropriate pants/leggings for the weather. I put in a gap order for some long hopefully looser wearing loungewear that I can layer with leggings.

$60 for both - more than I wanted to spend, but I can't really run around in flip flops at this point. Also, the ON maternity jackets are all on sale right now.
Sadly, I had big feet to begin with (11s over here!) and have grown into a 12, so Payless has been my go to for pregnant shoes. I got some cute boots from there for $30 and in case my feet do actually shrink back, they are roomy enough to wear wool socks with. I had to splurge online last weekend and got two long tanks and a long sweater for $30 total from Old Navy...nothing is covering my belly and I have 2 weeks left of work. I'm planning on using the tanks for nursing after LO arrives anyways.
May the force be with us all as we continue to grow and hopefully not freeze!
