Tomorrow I leave for VA for my 1st baby shower on Sat!! I am so excited to see my family and celebrate these babies!!

Yesterday went to the MFM at 27 weeks 2 days. Baby A is still a little behind, but still within normal ranges. Baby A measuring 5 days behind B at 2 pounds. HB 146 Baby B is 2 pounds 9 ounces. HB 141 I saw a different MFM in the group this time and she told me the important thing is that they are still growing and within normal ranges. She does want to see me in 3 weeks again instead of 4, but she didn't seem to concerned. also both babies are still head down!

QOTW: I still have A LOT to do. We are making some progress, but with my husband working about 2 hours away everything is moving slow and I am panicking!

I'm feeling large and in charge, but cranky, anxious and hateful.

My appointment on Monday was excellent. I passed my GD test, but I am waiting for a call from them because I saw at the online portal that I am anemic and have a high white blood cell count.

Harper is measuring 7 days ahead at 2lb7oz and William is measuring 3 days ahead at 2lb3oz. My doctor was very pleased with my weight, my fluid levels, my blood pressure, etc. I'm feeling pretty accomplished about that.

The nursery got painted on Monday and I LOVE the color. MIL turned her nose up at GREY, but that just means she's 72 and not very hip. Grey rules, MIL drools. The cribs are up and we have decided to put the chaise chair in there, but not much else has been decided. We have MOST of what we need, and most of what we WANT, so I couldn't ask for more in that arena. The only big things we need to purchase are the monitors and the car seat adapters, but we have enough gift cards to cover both of those things.

@kefttsc‌ What a nice big nursery!!! We did grey too and I love it! What color grey did you pick? Don't worry about MIL once you start to add accent colors it will pop!

We went with pewter! It is a little darker than we planned, but I really think I won't even notice once other stuff starts to fill the room. What accent colors are you doing? As much as I always said I wouldn't, we are doing pink and blue! LOL!!

@jennypolkadots you do know that this a check in for mom's expecting twins or more? (Moms of Multiples)?

I'm feeling alright ladies...I got my lab results finally and I failed my 3 hour glucose test as well. I officially have GD. Still waiting for my OB nurse to call with next moves, kinda freaking out...I really don't want to have to a self-sticker to check blood levels every day.

Other than that, I'll be 27 weeks tomorrow, and we're moving!!! I'm most excited to finally set the girls' room up...we're turning the extra den on the bottom floor into our Master because there's an additional BR down that will be the girls' nursery and shares a full bathroom. And DH is happy because he'll get a man cave up on the third floor because of this new configuration (I just want his action figure display out of my living room!!!)

I am happy to report that all is good with us. Yesterday I had an OB appt and he told me that I am having a textbook twin pregnancy now considering the rough start we had. Babies are looking good I didn't have time to ask a lot of questions because I got rushed to go do my blood draw for my GD test, but I did get told Baby A is still 55th percentile and B is still in the 56th. So I guess that means they are both average.

We were very fortunate to have gotten pretty much everything we needed from our shower, I still had some small stuff to get but have done most of that online and have been getting little packages here and there for the last week now. Now We are just trying to figure out what else we need.

So sorry about your GD @PeaceofKia‌. Hope you get a good plan that doesn't limit you too much, especially with the holidays coming up. Hugs!

@cls78‌ Hope you can get some help from friends/relatives with your nursery. That'd be tough having YH so far for work.

@PeaceofKia - I'm sorry about the GD. Congrats on the move, good luck settling in!

AFM, 26 weeks today and doing well! Getting more uncomfy and sleep is so hit or miss, but overall still doing pretty well. My OB's office said that no news is good news after my 1 hr GTT on Tues, but I like to be informed so I'm going to call tomorrow to check for results if I don't hear anything. I also called and spoke to the nurse this week and expressed concern about the lack of checking my cervical length. Apparently they did check during my A/S but that was 6 weeks ago, and my next appt isn't for another 3 weeks, so I think I will see if I can get in next week for a check. It's stressing me out, and hearing about other people's experiences lately, I would rather be safe than sorry, even if it means I'm that annoying patient.

QOTW: We had a super productive weekend! Got the nursery painted and cribs and change table built, now we just need blinds and a shelf and decor, so the fun stuff! We did our prenatal classes too, which was awesome, and we have our hospital tour booked for Tues. This time last week I was stressing, right now, I'm feeling like we're doing pretty well. And I have my first shower on Sunday, which is surreal but awesome, I'm excited

26 weeks today- feeling exhausted but know I still have a considerable amount of time ahead of me. Got checked yesterday at the OB and my cervix is still closed and seems long- soft but all good news basically. they will do a measurement in two weeks during my ultrasound.

Working on our playroom for the older kids which I know isnt necessarily twin related but is going to make it a TON easier to have all 4 kids at home.

Hey ladies we are still in the hospital but into the 28th week so feeling positive. We have a scan today to check the weights and fluids. They have been passing their NST exams with flying colors so that is excellent. Already had the steroid shots and get the Rhogan shot today sometime. Please keep praying we can keep baking a few more weeks!

Luckily my nursery is mostly done so I'm not too stressed about that!

Hi everyone! I'm still on hospital bedrest also until Wednesday next week... I'll be 28w! Babies r great & I'm still having contractions but my cervix is unchanged, so hopefully all stays the same! Oh & I failed my 1hr glucose test. Awesome week to say the least.

Our nursery is painted & has cribs & is a mess lol. DH has his work cut out for him.

In the hospital as well. 28 weeks today! This was the milestone I have been so wanting to get to.

We painted the nursery. Also went with gray, but that's it. My DH is going to have to take the lead on this one as well.

She was able to get it back to where it is supposed to be but it doesn't want to stay there. She wants me to come twice a week but I won't be able to bc I have to get a sitter for DD anytime I go. It's awesome that we are getting so far into our pregnancies but stinks that so many are having issues. Thoughts for those moms in the hospital, on bed, or with GD.

The guy who was supposed to be doing work on the nusery this hasn't shown up and we can't get ahold of him. He's done other work at our house and is always here on time so I'm a bit concered that something is wrong. We are trying to find a good light/medium gray color for the room but everthing keeps looking purpleish. If anyone has gray paint suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

I love Behr's pewter (what we used) and also they have a lighter one called elephant skin that is awesome.

T&P for thoes of you on BR right now! You are doing amazing keeping thoes babies cooking!

Moving right along, slowly, but still moving! 29 weeks today and boys look amazing! Cervix still closed and 4 mm so no worrie there. Had three people in the last two days tell me I look like I could pop any day, just smiled and said nope two more months. The reactions were priceless! I am only up 24#s so doc says I am doing very good!

Room is done up stairs and the nursery on the lower level is almost there. All I need to get is the stroller and I think we are set:)
