Trouble TTC

WTF Wednesday

I'm going to go ahead and start...

WTF work? I always have to post these things a few hours early because I have to get up in the middle of the night (well, 4:30am) to get to work. I'm so happy I have my nespresso to wake me up.

WTF, self? I need to drink more water and stick to going to bed at a decent hour.

WTF DH? He's been getting sick, apparently, and he just told me today. I'm very prone to sickness. It would have been nice to know this. Now I don't know if my congestion is allergies or yet another cold. I've had like 10 this year.

My WTF goes to my hospital where I had my hip replacement three months ago! I got a bill in the mail about 7 weeks ago. So I filled out the financial assistance paperwork (every discount helps when you have 10 doctors and tons of medical bills) that same day and have DH take it to the post office. After numerous calls and messages and no return, I finally just go to the hospital and ask to speak to someone right then. A lady comes out and they have no record of my application anywhere! So I had to completely redo the application- complete with pay stubs for three months, tax returns, and a 20 page application.  Seriously!!! But this time I brought it directly to the hospital and handed it to the financial person himself!

Edited- did not mean to offend

  • WTF new RE you've had the paperwork since Friday, it's Wednesday. Don't make a promise that the doctor is going to review your file and get back to you that same day if it's not possible. What happen to under promise and over deliver? You may not need my business, however, you are not the only RE in my area. Show some appreciation for me choosing you.

  • WTF to my birthday...I should be so excited today it is my special day the day I was born. But all I can think about is IF and just one more year closer to possible diminished ovarian reserve. Even on my birthday I can't stop thinking about IF. The first thing I did was take an OPK this morning because I've been having some ovulation pains. Ugh!

  • To the woman that was waiting for my parking spot at the gym last night as I took less than 30 secs to read a text before I backed out to leave who felt the need to get out of her car and yell at me that I couldn't take my "sweet fucking time" when someone is waiting for my parking spot and then got back in her car and proceeded to honk at me and yell expletives at me through her window ....my condolences to whoever lives with you and (likely) deals with your sense of entitlement and rudeness on a daily basis.

WTF lady?!  Was it necessary to be so horrible to me over a parking spot??

  • WFT to this cold that is kicking my a$$ since Saturday . I never take sick days, but I am home for day number 3 and not feeling an end in sight. It also totally sucks that this is happening during the lovely 2WW and I don't want to take any medication in case. But not filling optimistic about this cycle and am sure come Friday when I probably get the BFN I will be kicking myself for suffering without medication this week. Sigh.

  • I'll second Runner with the WTF weather. Completely different area, but it was 77* on Monday, yesterday was a high of *44 and it is a currently 23*. No one should have to go from flip flops to butt warmer in the car in less than 72 hours. It's just wrong.

I feel ya @iPutKetchupOnKetchup‌ It was 82* here on Monday & dropped almost 40* in less than an hour. Today it's made it up to a balmy 20* with a few flurries.

My WTF goes to my RE's office. Last week I made my first appointment for my consult (after dealing with the inconsiderate nurse who gave me the wrong name & wait an extra week). The RE's Office was scheduling about 6 weeks out so I made it for Dec 29. I called on Monday to get it rescheduled because we were still going to have company from Christmas & it's a 5 hour drive one way and now the first opening is Jan 21. Frustrating.

  • WTF weather here too!! I guess due to the storm in Alaska, we are having the LONGEST windstorm ever. Going on 36 hours now and not suppose to stop until tomorrow. We lost power last night around 9pm and it was about 52 degrees in my house when we got up at 7 (even though neither DH or I slept much) and a balmy 30 degrees outside. BRRR!!!
I have lived in the PNW all my life and am used to the wind storms November thru February but usually they only last 12 hours or so. NOT 36+ hours!!

  • I honestly don't know why I even said it @iPutKetchupOnKetchup‌ . I am usually very mindful of my posts and speech in general. I was very frustrated earlier at the hospital and I guess my mind/ filter decided to take a break. I really do apologize I never mean to offend anyone. I completely understand how that could be taken offensively. My thoughtless isn't an excuse at all. I just didn't want you to think badly of me. Once again I apologize and I will try to be more mindful.
