Sorry I have been MIA. I think the further I get into pregnancy the worse my ADHD is getting and the non-medicated part makes me focus on here and now vs tasks that aren't in my face on the radar (Like this is the only time I actually get on a computer). I also have some personal struggles in family and I think I have to be honest and do whats best for the 2IF grads here. I think I am going to have to step down from the check-in and pass along to someone else- preferably a first trimester person? So they have some continuity and not dropping out so fast. Let me know if you are interested and I will make a point to check PMs. I have everything in an excel sheet so I can send to you and all you need to do is update weekly and not have to retype- or whatever you are comfortable with. I am sad to do this, but again, I am even sadder to miss a week and all for you guys.

1. How many weeks along are you? 23 weeks 5 days

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Everything going smoothly, next appt before Turkey day!

3. How are you feeling lately? Tired, emotionally spent.

4. QOTW: Holiday plans centered on baby bump/ pregnancy? We are doing our Christmas family pics and decided to add a maternity shoot to it. We didn't do it for DD so I kind of feel bad, but she will be a presence in these which I think is super sweet. I ordered a maternity shirt with baby's name on it saying his first Thanksgiving.

Hi everyone! Jacob Patrick was born on 10/23! I was almost 41 weeks and went into labor the evening before I was supposed to be induced. The delivery went fine - I only had to push for 18 minutes, although because the labor and delivery unit was full when I got there, I didn't get admitted and get an epidural until I was 6 centimeters dilated - yikes!

So far, everything is going well - Jacob had his first dr apt last week and has already gained 5 ounces over his birth weight!

It has been great getting to know everyone and I am immensely grateful for the support I received here and from the 2IF board. Wishing everyone all of the best with your pregnancies and the safe delivery of your LOs - I will be lurking to keep up with how everyone is doing. Take care!

Can I join the check in party? @Momarazzi007 I would consider taking over the 2IF weekly check-in but I would like to wait until next week when we confirm our LO on the ultrasound. If you have no takers after that I will give it a try!

1. How many weeks along are you? 5+ weeks, I'll get the real deal next week hopefully.

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? I just got my 3rd beta back today and it was up from 103 to 1746 in one week, so it well-exceeded it's doubling times! I have my first ultrasound scheduled for next week, Wed 11/12. FX!

3. How are you feeling lately? Tired, but fine. Boob soreness has decreased. Nausea has increased and I actually peed myself today while trying to hold back that nauseous/vomit/cough thing. I feel like it's way too early for that ;-)

4. QOTW: Holiday plans centered on baby bump/ pregnancy? Well depending on how the ultrasound goes we will announce at either Thanksgiving (8-ish weeks) or Christmas (12-ish weeks, so that should make for a fun family celebration.

We were scheduled to have babies today but they made an early arrival and are now over a week old! Sunday the 26th I started not feeling right and contractions started that night. I went into the hospital but my contractions weren't close enough and I was not dialated past 2. The next morning I called my doctor to go in and get checked and I was having contractions 3 minutes apart and was 3cm so we were sent to the hospital to deliver. We had to wait the 8 hours from my last meal though so babies were born 10/27 at 6:05pm and 6:07pm. They lost some weight in the beginning but once my milk came in they have been eating like crazy and have gained almost all the weight back. Baby A is Lyla and was 5lbs 9oz. Baby B is Morgan and she was 6lbs 8oz. (Lyla is on the left and Morgan is on the right of the picture.)
Thank you to everybody for all the support you've given me throughout my pregnancy and my IF issues. I wish you all the best with your babies and will definitely be lurking

Big congrats to @Jeffreysmom24‌ and @lcloffredo‌ on your babies!! Glad everyone is healthy. 1. How many weeks along are you? 34w 3d 2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Appts twice weekly. One is a BPP/NST and the other is NST/OB appt. Last growth u/s is scheduled on Monday, I am excited to see how much they weigh. 3. How are you feeling lately? Running errands is becoming very difficult, but for some reason feel guilty when I do nothing all day. I get tired very fast. 4. QOTW: Holiday plans centered on baby bump/ pregnancy? Um nope. We are suppose to go to my in laws for thanksgiving, but they know if I'm not feeling well enough we won't be there. (We are scheduled for a c section on dec 1) Same goes for Christmas I suppose. Depends on how I'm feeling and how well babies are doing. Other than that, we are doing all of our shopping this month and getting our tree the weekend after Thanksgiving so we can just chill with babies after I have them.

1. How many weeks along are you? 11 weeks, 3 days

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? First regular OB appt yesterday, everything looks great. Scheduled Monday for the 12 week ultrasound & this new blood test they do now which checks for medical issues & it tells you the sex of the baby! Isn't that CRAZY? 12 weeks?! I am not sure I am mentally prepared to know what it is yet.

3. How are you feeling lately? Feeling good, tired all the time, but really no complaints

4. QOTW: Holiday plans centered on baby bump/ pregnancy? Thanksgiving we go to Disney World for the week with all my family (we all are annual pass holders). Christmas we were going to do our gender reveal besides the regular Christmas festivities, but now that we will know next week, that's out the window.

1. How many weeks along are you? 24 weeks 2 days.

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Everything is going well. I feel like modified bed rest is on the horizon due to a bad knee and a hernia. I have had 3 major knee surgeries in the last couple years and I am pretty much bone on bone, so the 20 pound weight gain is making it extremely painful to be on my feet all day. I have a femoral hernia that had went away and is now back and even bigger and painful. OBGYN said that I should consider staying off my feet and to let her know when I need to be taken off work. I had emergency oral surgery two weeks ago, which wasn't fun without any anesthesia, so that was delightful. Everything with baby boy is great though. Next appointment is the dreaded glucose test at the beginning of December.

3. How are you feeling lately? Meh. Tired. Between my teeth, knee, and hernia, Im in pain quite a bit. DH hasn't been helpful or supportive, so it has been rough. We aren't really talking right now and sleeping in separate parts of the house. I don't like it, but it is best for now. One of our last fights started contractions and spotting, so I am just trying to keep it cool.

4. QOTW: Holiday plans centered on baby bump/ pregnancy? We did holiday pictures the other day, which were bump inspired, so that was good. I am not sure what we are going to do as far as holiday stuff goes, it is up in the air. The last conversation that I had with DH, I wanted to do our own separate thing for the holidays, so I may just hang with my friends and DD. Not ideal, but what do you do.
