Need your help! Nanny recommendations please :)

Hi everyone!

We are expecting our first child in March 09 and with both of us working and not being able to take the full three months+ off, can anyone recommend a great nanny who may be available then or where we should go to find someone that you would trust with your baby? Maybe you know someone who has a great nanny who will not be needing them anymore?

I have not started interviewing for a nanny yet but I will be using OC Nannies if there is no space at my work's child care center.

I heard great reviews from other moms who have used this agency.

this might sound weird, but i found ours on craigslist and we love her. there are a lot posted there.

I actually *just* looked into OC nannies, and they do not do criminal background checks, only general background checks.

Thank you everyone for your great feedback. This is a tough task - finding a good nanny. Maybe I should see if anyone has a great nanny that they only use a day or two a week and see if we can use her the other days.
