I went to the allergist today to having testing done, and the results showed I have some pretty bad allergies. So the doctor wants me to begin shots. When I told him we were TTC, he asked "soooo, what do you think the odds are of you conceiving quickly?" So I went into our story about my CF causing me to have thick CM and how we going in for a consult this week etc.
When I checked out of the appointment, I had the sheet you give to the check-out person and saw there were some things listed under "Diagnosis": Chronic Sinusisits, Cough, Rhinitis, Cystic Fibrosis, and Infertility. That's the first time I've seen that last one. It didn't make me sad, but, at the same time, I felt like he had written it in big letters with a red sharpie across the page. Blah...just had to share.
Re: The first time for me....
oh mainer- that stinks, what a sucker punch, and what an odd thing for him to write as a diagnosis considering he's an allergist,
sorry

Thanks again everyone!
4real - thanks for the advice. I have been hemming and hawing over this for years for that exact reason. My CF dr told me the shots only work for about 30% of people, but, at this point, I am willing to try anything. At a minimum, at least he put me on some new allergy meds and I learned what to avoid, so hopefully that will help some.
