Need Good Induction Vibes Please!! (Long)--update!!'

Just wanted to update everyone and ask for some t&p/good vibes that this induction works.
I went into my OB office Tuesday at 2:30pm for my 39 week appt. I was still at 1cm (been there since week 32). Doc said with first pregnancy they like to let me go the full 10 days past my due date and don't want to rush anything. At appt urine was 2+ protein and belly measured small so sent me upstairs for u/s, more urinalysis, bloodwork and NST. A diff doc was on call by the time all that was done and there was more protein in urine so admitted me for 24 hour urinalysis.
Started collection at 6:30pm Tues evening.
Wed morning saw a third different doc from the practice who said since I am this far along rather than worry about preeclampsia they would induce Thurs am.
Got all excited. DH's parents changed their flight home from st Martin to get back early. Told everyone we would be meeting our baby by thurs.
Wed night moved me into l&d room and started cervadil at 9pm. This morning, the original doc came in and wanted to know why I was here. Basically said we could try pitocin but that it may not work and we could potentially have to try again tomorrow or even send me home and try again Monday. I'm still at 1cm and cervix is 90%.
Needless to say I'm completely bummed out and discouraged. I'm trying to be positive but my gut feeling is that I won't be meeting my baby today. I pray I'm wrong. I'm laying here on the pitocin now having what feels like very severe cramps, so I'm just in pain, sleep deprived and miserable.
Sorry so long but would appreciate any and all T&Ps that LO takes the hint that it's time to come out today!!
Update: baby Adalyn made her very quick entrance into this world today! Will do a birth announcement and story later once all the visitors leave. Team Green turned Team Pink!
