Okay, so it's not really all that serious but recently I've been feeling off. Shortness of breath, absolutely exhausted, dizziness, pulsing feeling in my hands, my teeth/tongue have been bothering me. Tons of relatively minor things. I felt stupid telling the doctor because I thought maybe I was just dehydrated but she ran blood work, turns out my red blood count is low.
More testing shows my folate [folic acid] is very, very low. My b12 is low too but only just by a little bit. I'm just so glad I mentioned everything because they've checked me for anemia before but because it's megaloblastic anemia and is related to red blood count/size and folate/b12 instead of iron they never checked it before.
I wish I'd pushed more the last few times I was at the Dr. I've been in and out with shortness of breath a few times in the past year and I'm just so happy to have an answer! Plus, it's easy to fix.
