Weird .. Uh.. Smell

No I promise it's not collard greens and I promise it's not down there ( I don't think anyways) but the past couple nights I feel like I smell like sour milk. I've showered. I've washed bedding/clothes, changed my shampoo and laundry soap. It's very faint and only when I'm in the bath or getting dressed and I have no freakin clue where it's coming from. I asked my friend and she didn't smell it on me but it's driving me batty. Could the hormones just be making my sweat smell different? Maybe it's my boob leaking but I haven't seen anything but you wouldn't think it would smell sour. Anyone else smell weird since being pregnant?? I really wish this was a troll post but unfortunately I'm seriously the stinky milk girl.

    That's a good idea I'm going to run the cleaning cycle on my washer and try washing a bunch of stuff in vinegar to see if it helps. I did get new she's butter (no smell) I wonder if it reacts to my body somehow?

    You could just be olfactory hallucinating too. I know lately my nose has been in hyper drive and not always with great accuracy. I suppose it could also be that my brain is not wired/equipped properly to deal with my heightened senses.

    Believe me, I fully expect you to laugh. I mean. I'd laugh if it wasn't so gross and disturbing to get a whiff of milk while I'm bathing lol

    I think our entire house smells weird..every day its something new. drives me and especially my dh nuts lol

    Have you had a bloody nose lately? When I've had bad bleeds and it is healing I swear everything smells like garbage.

    TTC since 3/2011 Adenomyosis, LPD, hypothyroidism. 
    BFP on 7/20/12 after 4 cycles Clomid + IUI 
    2 large subchorionic hematomas & no heartbeat at 7w6d   
    D&E 8/18/12 Sonohysterography found septum and necrotic tissue.   
    Hysteroscopy to remove both 10/5
    IUI #5-7 50mg Clomid + trigger = BFN  
    IUI #8 Femara + Bravelle + HCG + Progesterone = BFP 3/27/13
    Beta 1 (13dpo) = 169  Beta 2 (17dpo) = 1073  No heartbeat at 9w3d. 
    D & C 5/10/13  Triploidy 69 (paternal inherited)
    IVF #1 with ICSI and PGS 11R 8M 5F 2 biopsied/frozen
    PGS results = 1 with trisomy 13 & 1 good embryo for FET 
    FET #1 EV, estrace, nitro patches.  Cancelled due to thin lining
    FET #1.2 oral estrace, f'ing nitro patches and no delestrogen.  Transfer 12/31. BFN
    PAIF/SAIF welcome
    Surprise BFP on 6/13/14  Our only unmedicated bfp ever.
    Beta #1 339  Beta #2 649 44 hour doubling time

    I smell weird stuff too. All around our house. I am constantly asking DH if he smells anything.. Always says no. Maybe it's just our noses?

    I could live without the superhero strength smeller. I swear our whole house smells like dogs.

    I haven't had it this pregnancy yet, but when I was pregnant with DD I swear my boob sweat smelled like milk.  It's totally possible that your hormones are messing with your smell but you are probably the only one who can tell!

    I know exactly what you're talking about. I don't know if it's me or my nose but I smell different and so do other things in my house.

    I feel like I smell all the time in addition to smelling "phantom" smells everywhere else too!  DH thinks I'm a little nuts, as it's been going on for most of the pregnancy.  I'm a little paranoid about it and have even asked some of my closest friends and they don't smell it either.

    ^^ this exactly! I think it's a mixture of sweaty & leaky boobs...I've had it with both pregnancies.

    This is going to sound unbelievably stupid, but have you eaten activia lately. When my mom eats too much of it, she says she starts to smell like sour milk and she's not pregnant. She's discussed it with her doc and it's just the probiotics or whatever reacting with her body.

    Same with me and my freakish chemical reaction to pepto bismal.

    Well I am glad I am not crazy then, because seriously so weird! Thanks ladies for all the responses. I haven't been eating yogurt or had a nose bleed or anything, I washed my towels in vinegar last night and still smelled it a bit this morning. It almost smells like baby formula (grody I know) but I guess its probably just my hormones!!! DH thinks I am crazy too--he doesn't smell it.
