Re: Monday Bitchfest

  • DH's family draws secret Santa names so we did this last night. However, they don't keep it secret and we always get everybody something anyway so I don't get the point of secret Santa. I suggested we write down a list on our names so we don't have to ask what to get and it can remain a secret. MIL replied with "well I don't know what I want yet." Guess who I got... Yay me.

  • DD has started the 4 month sleep regression. I was up with her every 2 hours. DH was out on the road with my Dad , who's a trucker, til late last night since today is his day off. He came straight home and crashed in the bed. When I asked him to take DD to feed her at 6:30 this morning so I could get ready for work, he whined and said "but I didn't go to sleep til midnight!".... Are you fucking kidding me?! X(

    I would be livid!

  • Lol @ the sleep regression. I've been getting up with my LO every 2 hours since birth. I won't even notice it when it hits.

    Oh my... I'm sorry. :(
Yeah... It sucks. I'm getting used to it though. My friend told me her daughter did that until she was over a year old so that may be what I have to look forward to :'(

This is me too. I have yet to get more than 2-3 hours of consecutive sleep. Last night was even worse when she decided to wake up every hour. Also, DD1 is a hot mess today. She is screaming over everything. All the coffee will be had!

I'm sorry! I know how bad it sucks!! At least I'm not alone... Here's hoping out lo's will get their cute butts in gear soon and start sleeping longer.
  • After cutting out most dairy for over a month, I ate some cake at LO's baptism (it is the best cake in the world, made by a baker who came from France and uses real ingredients, especially BUTTER)... and then had a little more yesterday.  Well, she was up the past 2 nights all night squirming with a gassy tummy :(.  I hope her dairy intolerance goes away, because going without milk, ice cream, and CHEESE is so... UGH!!!!

DH tried so very hard to make this weekend special (anniversary on sat and celebrated my bday Sunday) but it just turned into a cluster fak! I swear he's on his period because his mood swings ruin the entire day. He knows well enough "if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all"!!
Eta: it's a bitch for today because I'm still annoyed with him

  • @lizzie82088‌ I too have been wakingb up every 2 hours and my son is 12 weeks today. Every once in a while he sleeps 3-31/2 one time at night and then back to 2 hours. I feel your pain.
  • At the dreaded nephew's birthday party on Saturday MIL was, as usual, a huge AW. Newsflash, my baby, not yours. Don't go and put him down in the crib to nap when there are other people here who would like a chance to hold him (even though I didn't want to pass him around I wanted DH's grandmas to get to hold him). She gets so pleased with herself whenever he falls asleep while she is holding him; it was his naptime lady, you don't get a medal. These sound like stupid complaints but she is just obnoxious and I am dreading the holidays thanks to her.

One of my fb friends just referred to her infant daughter as "sexy momma". I immediately unfriended her.

    Ewwwww

    ^ This. Gross.
  • I ate too much crap this weekend and now my stomach feels gassy and terrible. This is my own fault though. I can't eat a lot of dairy because my body has trouble digesting it andddd I ate way too much of it. Of course this is my fault.

  • What about calling them little shits can we do that or no?
I've called my daughter a little bitch. In an endearing way, of course.
I'm being featured in a new pregnancy/motherhood blog during the month of October, so if you ever wanted to know more about my pregnancy, birth, and motherhood experiences than anyone ever should, check out my posts in the link below! :)

  • I think the worst I ever call DS is 'trouble'.

  • My LO has been screaming all day since Thursday. I have no idea why. He eats and is content (he pulls off himself and smiles at me) but 5 minutes later is just screaming at full volume. Even if I snuggle him. I think it might be gas but I don't know what is causing it. I recently started eating totally different but I am eating way healthier. It is getting old. I can't get anything done. I have so much homework!

  • I've never called my kids any names to their face but I will tell my hubs so and so is being a little shit. I haven't called Leo anything but stink butt.

I take it back. I've called DS a stinky butt!

  • I hit the snooze a couple times and needed more time to get myself ready this morning. I wanted DH to feed LO so I could dry my hair, put on makeup, and get on the pump. He said, let me go to the bathroom and shower. So I start to feed LO and 20 mins later, the bottle is empty and DH is still not in the shower. He claims he didn't take a satisfactory enough poo. Who takes that long to poop?!?! By the time he was ready to leave I had LO ready, but I was a wreck, still hadn't pumped and my hair air dried into a frizzy poof. It took me an additional hour to get into the office.
Also, AF is back for the first time in about a year.
This is turning into an awesome week.

This is our house every time we go somewhere. I get both kids fed and ready and all my husband does is eat, poop for like 20 minutes, then shower. I always look like a hobo compared to him because I don't have time to get myself ready. I will never understand who needs to poop for that long. And he does it multiple times a day!

  • I have 3 day in house training at work so I can't go home to LO at lunch & there's only 5 minutes to pump in the afternoon.
  • OMG I am so very happy to know my husband is not the only one. I thought I was married to an abnormal pooper! Funny side story, when we first got married and lived together, my DH used to lie and say he had to go check the mail or run to the store but really he was using the lobby's bathroom to poop. Jeeez men and their poop!

So I recently proof-read my SD's essay,c and corrected an "effected" to "affected." She got her paper back today. The ENGLISH teacher that graded it changed it back to the incorrect word and down graded her. An English teacher!!! I was thisclose to printing out the usage rules for affect and effect and sending them to school with her. Oklahoma education people!!

I won't be one to go yell at a teacher for my kid getting a bad but I would have definitely done it in that situation. Not really for the grade but for the good ole game of "I'm right and you're wrong."

  • Hubbs takes his iPad in and plays candy crush every morning before work. He sits there for 45 min. Takin his time poopin. I don't get it.
My H either goes in with his WiiU gamepad or 3DS to go on the internet or play a game. Always at the WORST times. If you are not sitting in there wasting time, then why every time I scream at you to get your ass out of there because I need you, you are suddenly done? You are a time-wasting, bathroom hiding prick, DH.

  • And one more bitch even though it's Tuesday, no actually two more.

First, WTF LO? You didn't sleep for 8 hours straight yesterday?!? It wasn't for my lack of trying either! We nursed, rocked, walked, and drove around in the car. You are crazy. Then I expect you to sleep till 10 AM because that is your usual style. Up at 5:30 to eat, fine, but then up again at 8:30 to grunt and moan and kick at me? You ate, smiled, and I though you were up for the day. Now here we sit with you passed out. Mama wanted to sleep too you little shit. I cant get back to sleep once I get up and out of bed. =(

And secondly, I live in WI. We are getting a load of snow here, but where I live, only maybe 3 inches. I do not want to hear the people who live near me (I feel bad for the ones who live north of me who are getting 12+ inches) bitch about how much they hate the snow. Yeah, I know it is November, but we live in WI. What do you expect? No one wants to listen to you bitch about the weather for the next 6 months. Shut up and deal with it.

  • I had no idea that other guys took forever to poop. H definitely does. I always tease him that I'm "faster pooper in the west" because he never can believe I'm done.

ugh, sorry :(. This was my ds, I never noticed any sleep regression until the 18 month one. He's almost 3.5 and has sttn maybe four times.

Oh no! That's not comforting lol... Did he just refuse to sleep in the crib? Or would he have been happy STTN bed sharing/co sleeping? That's something I'm willing to do and feel comfortable with once DS is big enough so that there isn't a SIDS/suffocation hazard. I bed share/cosleep sometimes but have been trying to do less and less of it since DS is getting bigger and more wiggly and squirmy which makes me nervous. I'm thinking after a year or so the risks of bed sharing go down, but I'm not sure.

  • @jendem8‌ have you try the simethicone drops? I have the gassiest baby ever and not a day goes by that i don't give them to her. Makes a huge difference!! I use cheap cvs brand. My dr also recommended "colic calm" its herbal. But i know how u feel, i majorly cut back dairy too
  • Wow, did not realize the pooping was every man and not just my husband. I don't get it, I like a good poop every now and then just as much as the next person, but why must you sit on the toilet for 20 minutes at a time?! DH continues to sit there forever even after he's pooped. Men are strange creatures... :-?

I've always wondered how this doesn't result in man-hemroids.

I haven't tried them, but will definitely look into them.  Thanks!
