Advice?

I am 38 weeks 2 days pregnant. My lower back hurts so bad and it's made me start cramping throughout my belly and my thighs. Not dilated yet. Anything I can do? I feel so miserable.

  • I've found that a support band helps quite a bit, but doesn't "fix" the problem altogether. Lately I've been using a heating pad on my lower back in the evening and it has been awesome!

    I've found that it relieves some pressure to get on my hands and knees and rock back and forth...I'll even watch TV in this position the evenings. All pain and discomfort seems to be way worse in the evenings!
    Like others have said, not a permanent fix, but will at least give you a break!
  • I second the advice of PPs: belly band and heat. It doesn't go away completely but provides some nice temporary relief.
