Hope you are all keeping warm and cozy during this arctic blast.
Things are going well here. My pregnancy symptoms are at a minimum. Sometimes I forget I'm pregnant until I feel a kick or try to bend over. Although, I'm still sleeping a bunch. I'm trying to finish some projects around the house with the holiday season fast approaching. I'm glad to be eating normally again too, and not worrying about carrying a contingency 'puke bag' with me when I'm out. I don't feel completely wiped out by exercise anymore either.
I feel LO moving around several times a day. It's very reassuring and helps me bond with him. My worrying reduced significantly as I transitioned past the 20 week mark. I am more happy and relaxed as time goes by now. I just hope that trend continues to the end of pregnancy past birth!
I'm 5w4d today and am experiencing very few symptoms. Still some breat (nipple) tenderness, and maybe some fatigue, but that's basically it. I'm doing my darndest not to let that worry me, because intellectually I know that it's not necessarily anything to worry about.
I have another appointment with my doctor this coming Monday, when I'll find out when I'll have my first ultrasound and so on. The sooner the better! I want to wait until after the ultrasound to tell my parents, but I am desperate to tell them, so I hope it'll happen sooner than later.
Hope to see many of you updating here and on the pg>35 board very soon!

29 weeks, 4 days here. Doing ok other than the discomfort and pain. My next appointment is Monday with the OB so I am going to ask about the intense pelvic pain I have been experiencing. I did get a support band last week, and that does help some, but I still have a lot of pain, particularly at night. I mentioned this yesterday to the woman who teaches the prenatal strengthening class I take. She said definitely mention it to my dr as it could be pelvic dysplasia (awesome). Hoping it is just normal aches but it is time to really address it as it is just getting worse.
Other than that - the nursery work is underway - painting and removal of final guest room furniture is starting this weekend! Oh - and realized it is time to get some wirefree bras so that is my project for this afternoon (have gotten a couple sleep bras, but think I want some wirefree for the day or evening.)
Hope you are all well and wishing you great, successful cycles!!

I started having contractions at 29 weeks( exact time as DS) my cerclage is holding and he said thank God he did it. He wasn't even sure incompetent cervix was the problem. She is head down and station 1 . I'm having constant Braxton hicks. I go in for steroid shots Monday. He said should make it to December but won't be New Years baby. That brought a little guilt, but I know deep down , it's not my fault. Oh he said she should be breathing on her own unlike DS because girls do better...I also have bronchitis I got from DS , so when it rains.....lol..antibiotics and albuterol so better today...wishing all you gals luck..think of you all:)

@Samuelismomma Man, bronchitis too! I hope you're able to take some time off for yourself! Also, I hope you feel a lot better very soon.
My update is that I got CVS results last Friday and everything was normal. Also found out we were having a boy. We're excited on both counts! I'm getting ready to tell my parents this weekend - they can be extremely opinionated and overbearing so I'm dreading it, but they mean well... At least my husband will be with me.
Despite the reassurance from the CVS, I'm finding pregnancy to be full of constant worry. I don't dwell on it, but I do wonder every day if everything is ok. I haven't resorted to getting a doppler but am seriously considering it.
I also have to tell my boss, whom I dislike for a number of reasons. She's not at all supportive of anything that doesn't immediately benefit her, and other women who have gone on mat leave have not fared too well. I am trying to figure out how long I can go without saying anything, but figure I should probably announce in the next few weeks...
Hope everyone here is doing well and having some mulled wine for those of us who can't, now that this cold snap has enveloped much of the continent!
Im flying to Texas this weekend to photograph a wedding so that should be quite the adventure. Still have all the yucky 1st trimester symptoms but I should be ok. Ive learned to deal and get along fine
Im excited to finally get my 1st appt next week. I will be 1 day shy of 11 weeks.
Hubby is DRIVING ME INSANE. I love him but i can't wait to get away from him this weekend! Then the day after i come home he leaves for Virginia for work training. He isn't happy about missing the appt (he wants to be part of EVERYTHING) but really.......he is making me upset. I have a long vent about it in PG over 35 if your curious. Its ALMOST making me wish we didn't do this. Cried myself to sleep last night. I need to just figure out what to do and block his craziness from my mind.
I keep lurking to see more BFPs. Really would love to see more of you on the other side!
Mrs.McIrish - So exciting for you! I can't even imagine the emotions after all that you've gone through. I hope all goes well with your induction next week!
As for me, I am currently 11w5d. Had my second OB appointment on Monday - everything went well. NT scan was normal, and they drew blood for MaterniT21 and genetic testing - I'm waiting on those results. It was pretty wild to see the little monster swimming around in there - it kept making me laugh. I'm looking forward to my next appointment, although they won't be doing another U/S, so I'm kind of bummed that I won't get to the any more dancing around in belly until probably 20 weeks.
@JimBobCooter I'm so glad things are going great with the baby, but I am sorry you are having to deal with the nausea and shots. Also, I love your challenge gif. How could someone not catch that.
@jimbobcooter... it seems like just yesterday you got your BFP... so excited for you! FX the nausea goes away in the next couple of weeks!
@KirstenAlecia I've been lurking on PG>35 to follow your story. My DH seems to have a lot in common with yours so I've been watching how you handle it so I can "learn by example"
me:41 dh:43
Off Mirena Nov 2013, On Nuvaring end of Jan, Back off Sept 2014. Never ending cycle starting end of Sept...
11/14 Provera failed... cycle continues
12/14 High FSH (57 "midcycle") OBGYN had no clue... about anything
01/15 More lab results coming back from RE. U/S showed small (1")cyst on left ovary, thin lining, and couldn't locate right ovary so possibly straight to DE and IVF
Occassionally mess with the chart below to see "what if" and learn (not to make it pretty but because FF stays drunk with me).
@lgsdesigner....man I can't wait till my food aversions go away and I can eat normal!
@vh2014 here is to hoping his antics chill out here soon as he feels all is well and progressing as it is. As far as a birth plan...i have time to work on him
