  I second baby's own room. If she's safe in her crib you can turn the monitor off for a few minutes when you get to the fun stuff!

  DS sleeps in his own room but sometimes right before we begin the fun stuff he will start screaming. We always joke that he knows what we are doing and does not approve of getting a sibling. Haha

  DH and I joke that Cora can hear us hugging from across the house. It seems like the second we make any physical contact she starts wailing. No advice here, just sympathy.
