OXO Tot Booster Seat

Anyone have experience with this booster seat?  I need to get one for my parents house so the baby can have the highchair we have there. And I can get this one free from Pampers with points.  I'm a little concerned it doesn't have straps but they have chairs with sides do I can put it on one of those... Anyone own it?

    Also, I've always said it O X O, just the letters. But I watched a video on one of their products and it's definitely Ox O. Oppps.

    No but Leo has been sitting in James' Ikea Jr dining chair without sides or a strap and doing fine. I told my DH tonight that we should get rid of Leo's booster soon.

    No, but we use the prince lionheart one without straps, in a chair without sides, and it has been no problem.  We started using it two or three months ago. If I were you, I'd go for it!

    L hasn't been in a chair with straps for a few months. As long as she stays in her seat and isn't a wriggler, why not.

    We have that one in green ($20 at home goods). The only thing I don't like is that the seat back gets jammed under the rungs on our chairs and we can't use it on our bench because DD tries to lean on the backrest and would fall off the seat. Overall it is fine, just know that the seat is hard and there are some nooks and crannies that can be hard to clean.

    I just ordered one of those this morning In pumpkin. :) Carter's been without a safety strap for a few months and does fine, we needed something without sides because the sides on our current booster are squishing this thighs together!

    Thanks guys! It's basically free and I won't be an everyday seat so I think I'll go for it. My moms chairs have vertical slats and the one she sits on now has 0 padding. It's stright plastic.
    Oh and I'm still keeping her strapped in at home. I don't trust her that much. Ha.

    @tyrannosaurusjess‌ I've had at lease one kid in Pampers for 2.5 years and I trade Formula checks for codes. :)

    Our chairs have horizontal slats so my biggest issue would not be a problem for you!

    I think it would be fine. I no longer strap DD into her booster anyway.
