Just piggy backing off the other thread. I feel like when I was young, women in their 30s and 40s seemed ancient lol! I feel pretty young and good! Do you feel younger or older than your actual age? I am 38 and feel my age but good!
I'm 39, and I feel old lately, but I think it's mostly b/c I'm pregnant. Usually I feel younger than my age. The pregnancy is making me walk like I'm 85 whenever I get off the couch and I'm just soo tired. I also don't know how I went from being out on the town all the time 6 years ago to being a mom of three/soon four, in the 'burbs, making pot roast and picking up Market Day orders! Whoa! Happens fast. I'm glad to be where we are now, but sometimes I still pause for a moment and marvel at how fast you can go from "hot & single" to mom!
It depends who I am around. I'm almost 29. In my Bible Study, I feel young, because I am one of the younger ones. Walking around the mall with my two kids, I feel old.

I'm 30 and it depends who I'm around. I feel younger than my friends and peers that are actually my age but when I am around people that are younger I feel super old.
I volunteer in our church's Sunday School and the teens help as part of their community service for school. Nothing makes me feel older than interacting with teens. We were planning to do a song with the kids and I mentioned that I had sung it as a kid. One of the boys, maybe 15 or so said "Wow, I didn't know the song was THAT old!"
I'm 27. I think I feel my age most days. DH and I were the first to have kids in our social group. All of our friends are married now but most still don't get that we can't go out and drink until all hours of the night. So then I feel old.
I agree it's situational but mostly I feel oldold when I'm at the mall. Otherwise I feel like late 20's. I'm thirty and I just haven't accepted it yet, haha.
But seriously, it depends on who I'm with. When I'm with people my own age I feel older since not as many 24 year olds are already married with 2 kids. When I'm with older people I feel like an infant.
I am 40. And most days I don't feel all that old. It is kinda shocking for me say that I am 40. I don't look 40 but I credit that to genetics, staying out of the sun and not smoking. The only time I notice that I am getting older is when I work all day on the yard. I ache places that I never use to ache.
I totally feel my age, if not older. I miss all the fun I had in my before kids days. I find there are a lot of things that just are not the same as when I was younger such as my memory, I get sore more often, need more sleep. Forget going to the bar, it's like recovering from a minor surgury.
When looking at the fact that I'm only 24 I feel young but hardly any of my friends are married and the ones that are don't have kids and aren't in any hurry to so in that sense I feel older.
ETA: my 10:00 at the latest bedtime doesn't help me feel any younger but with a baby who likes to get up early I need all the sleep I can get to function.
I was 28 when I got pregnant with my son. At that time I felt super young, I regularly would get ID'ed and could pass for 20. Now at 30, I feel I aged ten years!! The sleepless nights aren't helping me feel OR look younger. Lol.
I'm 22 and I feel old. I had to grow up at an early age, I had a single mom that worked a lot of hours so it was up to me to take care of my sister and brother. But when I'm around my friends that have a baby or babies I feel too young to have 2 babies. It depends.

I totally relate to this, I used to get remarks on how young I looked all the time. Less so once DS was born, but still a good amount. After DD - I really do feel like I aged 5 years in 1 year. I agree little sleep is a huge factor.

This is EXACTLY my story. We were the first to get married and to have kids. I feel old around many other 26/27 year olds. Lately we have been around a lot of people in their 30s and I tend to feel like a baby.
For the first time in my life I feel old. I am physically, mentally and emotionally tired. I am stiff and sore every single morning when I wake up. I don't know if it's being older, everything I went through with the pregnancy/delivery/recovery or what. Nobody tells you how you're supposed to feel a year pp. I suppose it's normal to have additional hurdles at age 41, but I'd really like to start feeling like myself again. And now that my daughter is getting heavier- oh my aching back!
Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.
I am 35, but I feel younger. Like others have said, I don't feel like I am 21 or anything. I remember thinking 35 was sooo old. Sometimes I forget I'm an adult.

I'm 30 & I feel pretty good but when I'm around around certain people I definitely feel my age. I hated my teens/20s soo I'm really hoping 30s are better. So far this year has been.
