Laundry Detergent

So I've been washing the baby clothes in Arm n Hammer perfume free with no skin irritations or problems, but I'm not loving the way the clothes are coming out. They're a little stiff feeling and I worry that they clothes are getting a little washed out. What detergent/fabric softener are you using that you LOVE for keeping you kids clothes soft and bright?

I've been using Dreft, but to be fair I used it before the baby, too. I just use fabric softener sheets that I toss in the dryer, I think they're just a generic store brand but they do the job.

The All Free & Clear works great! We use scent free dryer sheets as well and her clothes are holding up well. If we have any stains we use a blue oxy clean stick which has been wonderful :-)

Now that DD is a little older and doesn't seem to have skin sensitivities, her clothes are being washed with everyone else's. I switch up detergents based on what smells good to me at the moment. I went on a Free and Clear kick for a while, but I like my clothes to smell nice, so now I'm currently using Gain because it's cheaper.

Tide Free & Clear detergent and whatever unscented form of dryer sheets I find. We also have tide active sport with febreeze because DH gets dripping wet when he works out and gross. Occasionally kid/baby things get into these loads with no problems.

I've bought scent free sheets in a few different brands both at Target and the grocery store.

I'm just using Molly's Suds laundry powder (via Amazon) for baby clothes. It's supposedly all natural and has a great pepperminty scent. The clothes have been coming out great.
