Feels like a life sentence.....INTRO

Hello ladies,

I'm new to this board and was encouraged by the IF and TTC boards to come on this board. 1 year TTC....DH low sperm count of 20k. I just got partial RE lab results today here goes....15.9 FSH, follicles are low, AMH pending results currently, thyroid is slightly low and may need to go on Synthroid. The nurse says we'll be doing aggressive fertility treatment probably skipping IUI and going straight to IVF. Ladies, I really would love to hear success stories similar to me and DH. We could use it right now.

    Hello.
    I'm sorry to hear about your DX.  No matter what the DX is, Infertility diagnoses are SO hard to swallow. I can't speak to your bloodwork results - but our issue is Male Factor. My husbands count has never been higher than 8 million and motility never more than 10% ( I think?) significantly lower than what you mention.

    We went straight to IVF and got pregnant on our first attempt. Currently prepping for an FET with one of our frosties which is scheduled for the end of the week.

    My FSH at last check was 9.2, AMH .5     It did take us 5 fresh IVF cycles to get our miracle baby.   Will find out on Thursday if my 6th IVF will result in a sibling for DD.  IF is a terrible pill to swallow...but the ladies on TB have been such a cheering squad for me and everyone.  Wishing you luck!

    3/4/13 measuring right on track beautiful heartbeat 171 bpm, graduated from RE to OB... bittersweet.

    11/13 beta #1  924!!!  2nd bet 11/15 1906, one more on 11/17 3rd & final beta 3430.  First u/s 12/5, 7w4d, 2 heartbeats,
    both measuring right on track....2nd u/s... all is well... both beans measuring right on track... released from RE... first
    appointment with MFM 1/5.  Looks like this is really happening!

    Hi hon! I know that getting an official IF dx is difficult, but here is the good news. You are skipping over all the beginning steps and going right to a treatment plan that has the best chance of working for you. Sending tons of thoughts and prayers that you find success soon hon!
