I am predisposed to depression. I suffered from it mild to moderate since high school. I had the baby blues bad last pregnancy. When my son was 6 months old we started to catch his delays and feeding issues got really bad. Then I was in a car accident and broke my foot really badly. That's when I got super suicidal and finally got help. I went off my antidepressants 3 months ago or more because we were planning to TTC. Things went surprisingly well.
I am now 5 weeks pregnant. I am now more mopey than usual and can tell my mood is going down hill slowly. I am scared to take medicine because my son has so many issues and I feel responsible. So I want to be careful this time. I am mostly worried about after the birth. I want to breastfeed and I want to stay off antidepressants during that time.
I read that encapsulating your placenta can help, but I haven't found any studies. Does anyone have links to any studies I can look at? Any personal experience? Any other options that are not mediciation? Thanks.

If you can afford it, do it!
I was just thinking about this the other day. Why not try it if it is going to help?!
Do you kind telling me about how much it costs?
