Less Expensive Maternity Clothes

Where can i find more reasonably priced maternity clothes (other than Target)?

Thanks :)

Re: Less Expensive Maternity Clothes

  • I buy online consignment.  Swap.com has been really reliable, as well as thredup.com.  You can even find some stuff new with tags.

  • I second ASOS I just bought 2 pairs of pants and a top for $50 including shipping....some stuff is way more though so it depends.

I have also bought some reasonable items from H&M and seen some good sales at Macy's online...

  • See if you have any Destination Maternity stores near you.

It's a combo store of Motherhood Maternity and Pea in the Pod.  Wide range of prices and they always have stuff on sale.  They have a website too.

Also, I just heard that Wal-mart is selling Maternity clothes again.

  • I got some great things at Gap this weekend for a steal. They often run promotions on their clearance, so the things I bought on clearance were an additional 40% off (I scored a shirt for just under 5$). They also run a ton of promotions on their full priced things, making them more affordable.
  • What about some consignment shops or goodwill? I bought a few things at motherhood maternity but plan on looking at those places to see if I can find anything else.
    Fucking bump!!!!
  • I've found some great items at consignment shops. Also a lot of shopping sales racks in Kohls, Younkers, and Gordmans if you have those in your area.
  • Old Navy. I bought the majority of my maternity clothing from there last time and plan on doing the same this time.

  • I went to Motherhood a couple weeks ago and shopped their clearance. I found some good deals.

  • Another vote for Old Navy, and I've also had some decent luck at Ross: just yesterday I picked up a cute empire waist t-shirt for around $8 and a nice warm cardigan for $15.

  • Kohls and Ross have been my go to. Everything I have bought has been $12 or less.

  • I'm loving all of the items I ordered from Gap recently. They aren't the cheapest maternity clothes out there, but I was able to find a 40% off coupon code both times I've placed an order online recently. I like that they have longer shirts and sweaters (without the elastic on the sides) that will work with leggings.

  • I just noticed an email and motherhood has an extra 30% off all their clearance items today. I just racked up on lots of shirts.
    Fucking bump!!!!
  • I bought a few pairs of maternity yoga pants at Walmart (because you don't always find petite length maternity pants, so I jumped on it!) that I actually like a lot.

I was very sad to find out that my local Goodwill no longer has a maternity section. I got some good deals there last time!

  • Destination Maternity is a great store if you have it, just stick to the "motherhood" side and avoid the "pea in a pod" side.

Also x-large or just really drapey tops + fold-over maxi skirts are probably on clearance right now and will serve you well next spring!

  • Shop the clearance section at Old Navy you can find some winners in there. Also Gap has some shirts under $10 sometimes. Asos is great, try eBay, Craigslist, Salvation Army, Goodwill etc.

  • Childrens consignment stores usually have a maternity section. I have gotten a bunch of pea in the pod jeans there for about $8.
  • Just bought kohls shirts using a bunch of promo codes.
  • Most of my stock is from kids consignment shops. And some goodwill. I just got two pairs of these skinnies in the mail today from Walmart though. They are super comfy and fit great!

  • I found that Walmart is pretty cheap two towns over from me. They didn't have a big selection but I looked online and they have a lot more at a good price.

  • My mom found me a ton of clothes at Ross, actually. It's hit or miss at different locations, though.
  • eBay! Best thing I did last pregnancy was to order a group of maternity clothes in my size, I think I bought 20 items (shirts/pants/sweaters) for $50.

  • Ross, Tj maxx. I refuse to spend $20 on a shirt. Absolutely refuse.
