Oh my word! Over the last two or so weeks my 3 year old is becoming a lunatic. She cannot leave the baby alone. Will not let him sleep and is constantly picking fights with my older kids.
Anyone else seeing totally crazy behavior in their toddlers since baby has born?
Re: Anyone else's toddlers losing their marbles?
Plus for no reason whatsoever she's gotten insanely picky about food and suddenly won't eat half the food that she used to like. She's eaten grilled cheese for lunch like every day this week.. I feel horrible but I've tried like everything else in my house and she doesn't want it. Help!
I think ds2 is going through a growth spurt so I sit in one spot bfing all day and then he cries when I put him down which is out of his norm. Plus he's tired because dd2 won't stay out of his face. Thank goodness I dealt with our second car before this shitstorm started and I don't have to get the toddler up at 8am anymore. Let the littles sleep!!
@kateronium I didn't even think about her crazy eating having anything to do with all this. She's decided she likes rice cakes?? Weird. And that she doesn't like any meat.
My personal favorite? If I have to take something from her or tell her no she collapses onto her back and hits her head and the floor, or just collapses forward. Collapsing forward seems more dramatic to me personally.
*he only wanted milk for breakfast, no eggs or apples (normally his favorite),
*he wanted the front door open and I didn't get to it fast enough,
*a truck drove by and I had the nerve to nurse DD instead of put his shoes on and take him outside to pursue it,
*he wanted more milk,
*his toy car got hung up on legos, slowing DS down.
He doesn't leave DD alone either. If she's in the swing he tries to climb in with her. If she's on the floor he wants to sit on her. He likes to stick his fingers in her mouth and he likes to help with her diaper changes by wiping her face with a wipe. He's not trying to be mean, just helpful, loving, and curious, but he certainly can't be trusted in a room with her and I'm constantly using baby gates to keep them apart long enough for me to pee.
She is terribly behaved in public when dh is there also. She knows (read: I don't give her the opportunity) that she can act like an asshat and run around the store and stand up in the cart to escape because daddy will chase her around. I hate going places with them. I do better on my own.
DD1 also stripped her diaper off during the night and peed on everything. EVERYTHING. Even her nemo.
