Shoe Recommendations?

Little man has been walking for about a month, and I'm at a loss for shoes. Everything I am finding is really hard-soled, and difficult for him to walk in. He also has pretty monster feet, I think about a 4T. Currently he is just walking inside in socks, but I'd like to find outdoor options. Any recommendations appreciated, TIA!

    See Kai run smaller. They stay on, are soft and I swear by them.

    I love stride rite. Pedi ped also makes great shoes. Find a childrens shoe store near you. IMO shoes are not something to cheap out on when they are young. Their feet change and grow and they are learning to walk. You need good shoes.

    Do you think the moccs would be comfortable to walk in, outdoors? I just imagine the leather soles to be thin..... ?

    Does anyone's child scream/cry when you try to put shoes on them.  The moment I try to put a shoe on my LO he screams.  He wore some for his 6 month pictures, without a problem.  I am wondering if I just need to start with moccasins and then move on to other kinds of shoes.  I also am wondering if it is something with his toes (i.e. an ingrown toenail), I will have to take a closer look at his feet tonight.  I have gone up sizes in shoes too, because I thought the shoes may be too small.

    @bty19 Oh my. It's a LONG story. 

    A few months ago I got sucked into the Larry Stylinson thread on the parenting board, probably thanks to @lrachelle80 ;) 

    Larry Stylinson= a relationship between Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson of One Direction (yes, the boy band). 

    There is widespread belief that Harry and Louis are possibly gay and were involved in some sort of relationship with each other. It's very complicated. 

    As far as my signature goes...Louis tweeted some really insensitive things yesterday. There was an article written about him after he wore a tshirt with the original Apple logo (apple in rainbow colors) and the article suggested he wore it in support of the Apple CEO who recently came out as gay. Nowhere in the article did it suggest that Louis himself was gay, nor did it mention the theory behind Larry Stylinson. 

    However, Louis decided to go on a twitter rant, basically suggesting that he was offended by the article and he is "in fact straight". Odd he had to clarify that, since no one called him gay. But his tweets put a bad taste in everyone's mouth because of them being pretty homophobic and suggesting that being gay is an insult. 


    TL;DR: One Direction has taken over my life, and the lives of many others. Please pray for us.

    Yeaah, I spent about a week in that same thread, reading and obsessing... Just wasn't sure what had happened on Nov. 10.2014..Thanks for filling me in ;)

    The picture of this in my head is too cute.  poor kid.  LO forgets how to walk when I put shoes on him.  He's much more interested in chewing on his striderites than walking in them.

    This is my kiddo in any kind of outerwear. You put a coat on him, and it's like he forgets he can move at all
