How do you keep your recipes?

On your phone, tablet, computer...
Or are you rockin' it old school and have them written down?

Mine are on my phone, iPad, recipe sites, in an old binder and in a box. As you can see, I need to consolidate them. That situation is out of hand!

I want to make a scrapbook/recipe binder and I need ideas! If you have one and would like to share a pic of it...please do! (Obv not of every page, but like the cover and style of it.) I'll be checking out Pinterest too.

  • I have them written down. I've tried the whole keeping it on your phone thing but I hate when it "times out" and then you have to load your phone back up again. I have them written down on little recipe cards and then I have a recipe box they go into. I would like to print out the recipes put them into one of those clear sleeves and then into one of those three ringed binders though.

  • I have enclosed pictures, mine is a binder. There are dividers so I can separate types of dishes (it's it very big) . There are also pockets at the end of each section so I can put articles or cut outs from magazines. There are also inserted paper to write the recipes I want to keep.
If I find something on my phone or computer, I make it once and if we like it I transfer it to my recipe book, if not it gets tossed. I try to clean it out every once in a while, but that hasn't happened lately. I want to be able to pass this on to dd. My mother had me start this when I moved out. imageimage
  • I have a bookmark folder on chrome, so I can access them from my tablet, laptop, and phone. My notes on each recipe are in my head. I am in the process of actually writing down my recipes with my modifications but I don't have a great system figured out yet.
  • google. i don't ever save recipes, since i barely cook with them. i just google something as necessary.

  • Some of them I have pinned, if it's a new recipe. Otherwise I have a recipe book I use with printouts of my favorites.

  • I save them in a gmail account so I can search easily and find them when I am at the grocery store, etc.
  • Mine are old school written on cards in a recipe box. I'd like to eventually get a binder and move them into there. Saving them online is too overwhelmingly for me. I'll still look things up and pinterest them, but if it's a delicious recipe thati plan to remake, it gets written and goes in the box.
