I'm suffering from the flu right now even though I received the flu shot. Now I'm terribly afraid my high temps and consistent wicked coughing are harming the baby. S/he is still moving like a champ but I wouldn't be a mom-to-be if I wasn't worried. I've been to the docs twice and am on a few different meds but am wondering if anyone else suffered with the flu this season.
Re: Flu While Pregnant
However, if they predict accurately the strain that develops, then you are protected. Best odds are get the shot, and stay away from sick people, wash your hands a lot! Good luck this season. :-) October to April, generally recognized as flu season....
A 2013 study indicated the flu shot can "provide cross protection against non-matching circulating strains" even if they are not exactly matched.

Sorry, but "pregenet" was kind of funny.
I'm really sorry you have pneumonia. I'm glad baby is healthy, and I hope you will be back to feeling great soon.
