I'm not sure how else to post this, but I want to talk to ladies that I know on here. Are any of you 100% OP like myself using this drug at the moment? 


Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    I wasn't OOP - but used it two years ago. It's NOT cheap :(

    I'm not trying to hoard my drugs but im having a hard time just giving it to anyone since I'm still paying off my medical bills from my treatments last year and god knows I would of died for some free drugs. So I want to try and give to someone I know that really needs it. If I don't hear from anyone I know on here I will move to the OOP med donation. I know nothing about the program I just get uneasy thinking there could be people that have everything paid for getting free drugs because how do you really check? Yep it's the negative nancy in me...

    I actually donated mine through the OOP program and was disheartened when my match was someone who was clearly not active on TB like the requirements state..... I went ahead and sent it, but I felt like there were so many other people who probably could have used it who did meet the criteria, it left me a little bit of a bad taste. My suggestion, if you can find time hop over to the IF board and read some of the blogs. I don't think it would take long to find someone who is OOP....

    Exactly that makes me incredibly nervous. I will def try that next if I hear from no one here.

    I used Follistim, had some IF coverage this second time TTC, but ran out part way through our IVF cycle. I donated mine to the OOP meds program, even though I spent a lot of my own money on our treatments. I guess I just trusted them to screen those that are participating. Hopefully you can find someone here who needs it who you know!

    Grayson arrived via emergency c-section on 7/28/12!

    IUI's #1 - #4 Follistim = BFN's
    IVF #1 w/ ICSI + PGS: Lupron/Follistim/Menopur
    ER 4/13 - 19R, 13F, 4 PGS tested embryos, 1 normal
    5/14 FET: BFP. Beta #1: 123, Beta #2: 327, Beta #3: 854
    Cora arrived 1/23/15 via RCS!

    Yes! Agreed :) And hopefully we will get some more babies on this board!!!! 

    I just wish the drugs lasted longer. I think I secretly want more babies but I know there is zero way in hell we could afford to pay for daycare or treatments. I have to see where we are in 2 years :)

    I'm not asking for meds.  I already have all that I should need for this cycle.  But, as someone who pays for their meds out of pocket (and is DOR and a poor stimmer), I just wanted to let you know how much your donations help.  I received 600 ius of Follistim from someone for this cycle and it was really, really appreciated.  These meds are so expensive!  While 600 ius of Follistim was just a small portion of what I had to buy, it was still a huge help and also made me feel like someone else cared.

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    Thanks :) I never knew the OOP Donation was around for just anyone that was OP. Wish I knew about it myself, but like others I def wouldn't waste meds that I spent a ton on because I know what it's like to go broke for treatments.

    I didn't use it for my first two IVF cycles TTC #2 because I know that there are so many women trying for their first.  But, after two failed IVF cycles wholly out of pocket, I was just scraping things together to try this last time (IVF #6, third one while TTC #2).  I believe there is priority given to women TTC #1, though.  I also donated a few leftover meds from my successful IVF #3.  But, they were primarily to people I "knew" who were cycling.
