I grocery shopped yesterday.  My list is:

Stew (veggie that MH made a couple weeks ago and froze) with crusty bread
Sweet Potato Corn Soup with muffins (super easy and tasty)
Sloppy lentils (made in the crockpot) on buns and sauteed zucchini
Some sort of pasta.  We have frozen ravioli and veggie meatballs so I'll do one of those.

I'll be eating dinner at your house all week, cool?

  • Y'all are so great! I need to get better about planning out yummy meals. We normally just grab some meat and fresh veggies and just make stuff up every day. We're a "meat and potatoes" type and fine with simple plain meals but I like to mix it up, too. Besides, I need start eating better now that I'm not nauseous and don't have an excuse ;)

  • Tonight is hamburgers with sweet patato fries, tomorrow is blackened samon salad with a raspberry dressing (my 9 year old makes this from scratch and refuses to teach me), she's a rabbit so she is in charge of all salad nights.

Daddy will be making a shrimp Alfredo sometime this week and I'll round it out with a chicken yellow rice at some point, once the leftovers are gone.
  • Monday: baked ziti with spinach (with leftovers for lunches tomorrow)
    Tuesday: Skinnytaste Chicken Potpie soup
Wednesday: baked chicken tenders with garlic broccoli and baked sweet potatoes
    Thursday: quinoa stir fry
    Friday: pizza night
Saturday/Sunday: eat out and eat at ILs house

Such a good idea - bc I am trying to plan for a healthier week this week myself!

    M: soup and crusty bread
    T: mini pizza
W: sweet and sour chicken - in the crock pot!
    R: taco salad
    F: thai take out

  • YUM!!!
Anyone mind if an Aussie with a loudish laugh pops over for dins.
Sunday afternoon SO made me a massive steak and veggie soup for the dinners as he works in film (craft services) so it's just me for dins most nights. I'm a dork and love just heating up dinner and watching tv :)
