Weird Period after 150mg clomid ***TMI

Hi ladies so just a heads up... sorry for the tmi... but this last month I was on 150mg clomid for my 3rd iui and it resulted in bfn. But anyways I didn't have any symptoms at all of starting my period- I usually have cramps and back ache. But this month I just woke up with brown blood only when I wipe. So I just figured it was coming on. But all day yesterday (cd1) it was super light and again only when I wipe. So far today (cd 2) i have had a little spotting but have only needed a panty liner and no tampon or heavy duty pad. And its still brown almost black in color.

I have been on 50mg and 100mg clomid in the past but periods where red in color. Has anyone had this happen to them? Last week Wednesday and Friday I took pregnancy test and both days got a quick negative result. I go to RE for cd3 ultrasound tomorrow. But just wondering if you all had any thoughts or similar experience on 150mg clomid. Any advice would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

    I was on crinone but stopped that last Wednesday when I got bfn. And my lining was perfectly fine last month so no concerns there. And I will probably call and ask to speak with a nurse. And since doing iui's cycles have been 30 days but this time I started day 29.... before clomid I had a 28/29 day cycle... so it's very strange to me.

    Sounds like you haven't started your period yet. Unless you got red flow, it's not a period. Although last cycle you started with red flow, that doesn't mean you're on CD1 or 2 yet. Definitely describe to your RE's nurse to make sure your Clomid is started on the right day. :)

    Talked to a nurse and we are going to keep my appt. tomorrow but we're going to decide what we're going to do next with my RE...As far as doing another iui or moving onto something else. I also explained to her my "period" and she asked if I did a pregnancy test and I said yes I did 2 last week. But they are going to check me out and depending on how everything looks they may do blood work.
