With baby #1, I felt movement around 18 weeks. I had an anterior placenta, so it was harder to feel the kicks. DH didn't feel them until well into the 3rd trimester.
Now I'm pregnant with baby #2 and everyone says you can feel them earlier with the 2nd pregnancy. I swear I started feeling something at 11 weeks. Anyone else feel it this soon? At 12 weeks, it is getting stronger.
I was 10 weeks this time. I honestly cannot remember with baby #2 and #3. Now I am 23 weeks and just last night I was able to watch her kick and move my ereader that was resting on top of my belly.

I was wondering about this question just today, so I'm glad you asked it. I'm not feeling anything yet at 16 weeks with #1 I am looking forward to it as a sign that the LO is doing well now that the MS is subsiding.
Around 19w both times. I know people say they can feel the baby as early as 10-13w in subsequent pregnancies, I am just not buying that. The kid is SOOO TINY then, no way you would feel something for sure.
Well when I felt her at 10 weeks it was the fluttering. But its was definitely movement. It was probably around 16 weeks is when I felt the real movement.

I'm a FTM so wasnt really sure when I was really feeling baby or just gas...but in hindsight, I think it was about 20 weeks when I was almost sure that it was the baby moving - felt just like little bubbles bursting low in my abdomen. This weekend (at 24 weeks) was the first time i really felt some good kicks/punches - I was reading and my booked got knocked a bit - I ended up laughing and laughing, which resulted in more jabs, and then watching my tummy for the rest and actually could see my tummy move. Now, I am noticing things all the time.
First pregnancy- 15/16 weeks Second pregnancy- 12/13 weeks (flutters), obivous movement around 16 weeks
So no- you aren't crazy if you are feeling flutters at 11 or 12 weeks. I'm sure a FTM would notice movement that early, too if she knew what it feels like at that point. KWIM?
yep, around 11w with this pregnancy (I honestly don't recall with the first). I'm feeling kicks from the outside now (21w) and have been for a good week or so. But I've felt kicks now for a good 4-5 weeks vs. flutters. It's been amazing. He's kicking up a storm now. DS #1 was very active but not this active this early, at least not from what I remember.
This board is so much nicer than my month board. lol I'm a STM and I believe with DD I felt her around 16 weeks, but this time I've definitely felt a little bit recently, like they said, just little flutters. Nothing like a kick for sure. Don't suggest mentioning those early feelings in the month board though, I kept my mouth shut but they sure were flaming anyone who thought they might be showing or feeling movement early. Not really sure why people want to judge what someone else is feeling.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has started feeling movement early, I thought no one would belive me so I have just been quiet about it. It stated last week, week 11.
@kotkoda -- I told my OB about the bubbles (as I described them as well) and asked her if it was baby or gas and she said that gas usually moves around (like through the intestines), so you will feel it in different places and it's usually painful. When it's the baby, its almost always in the same spot/area early on and there should be no pain, just slight flutters, like when you're nervous about something (butterflies in the stomach). So you're probably feeling your baby!
I started feeling vibrations at 11 weeks, that turned into flutters and then bubbles, I'm 16 weeks now and I still feel it on my left side about 1-2 inches below my belly button. OB says should feel more movement and can tell it's hands/feet (pushing/punching/kicking) in about 3-4 weeks! I'm excited to feel that soon!

Yay @modgan29 at feeling flutters! Thanks for posting what your OB said. I've been pretty clueless. I've started feeling some bubbles on my right side over the last couple of days. (I guess this is where we go our separate ways what with yours being on the left side.. haha)
Hahaha @NeonNoon!! I think it has to do with which ovary releases the egg, at least that's what the first US tech told me. If the baby implants on one side, it usually means that the ovary on that side released the egg. So, I'm a lefty, you're a righty! :P

I felt a movement at 16 weeks, then 18 weeks. Pretty much daily plus now at 23 weeks. I have an anterior placenta and started out fluffy... so may have contributed to taking longer :-)
I haven't felt anything but bloating so far and I'm almost 11 weeks. I didn't feel my son or my daughter until I was about 16-19 weeks. Even then I just felt tiny little jabs.. like they were poking me with their toes. I can't wait to feel this baby! At least then there's some reassurance that things are ok. I hate this first part where you can't feel anything. Aside from nausea of course.
with my daughter (18 years ago mind you) i felt the flutters at 16 weeks.
I do however get muscle spasms right now that feel pretty darn similar......but i know they are muscle spasms. Im only 9 weeks and I'm prone to muscle spasms all over so I'm not surprised my abdominal muscles are twitching.

This time I swear I'm feeling flutters that aren't gas but it's unlikely to be baby because I'm only 6 weeks and change.
