I dont want facebook. I have never been a fan of social media. The way I feel about it is that people who are in my life and want to keep in touch with me have other ways to do it. They can email me, call me, text me, send me letters, whatever. People who want to have a relationship with me will, whether I have facebook or not.
this weekend was unique. we don't usually have threads over 200..maybe once in a while, but not often. and i think there were 3 or 4 that were over 400?

Yeah, but couldn't you have said this about any technological advancement? I am sure people said the same thing about the phone....that people should just write them a letter instead. It's just a different way to keep in touch!
I guess it just depends on your family/friends, though. I have lots of cousins all over the country that I am not particularly close with, but I do like to generally know how they are. Facebook is great for that! Otherwise I would never ever talk to them. And it's not cause we don't care about each other... we just aren't close. But we still care cause we're family. KWIM?
Not trying to convince you - I know you are beyond being convinced.
I totally get that and to be honest, the thought of being in touch with my family overseas is really appealing. From that standpoint, I can deft. appreciate social media.
This is the ironic thing about the facebook group, it doesn't come up in google searches. But this page does, so I am actually more comfortable posting photos, etc there. And I rarely post on my normal Facebook page. I mostly use it for o13.

So is there a spot that said what happened this weekend on fb, for all of us non users?
I would tell you but I'm not even sure myself. People got mad, feelings came out, I bought a mattress. And something about teepee pants and stride rite shoes.

If you like stride rite shoes then it is best you don't know what was said
I mean, it's really not that serious. They're baby shoes. They serve a purpose.

I agree with you. I have no problem with stride rite shoes. DD wore them when she was younger and N will probably get some as well.
Is this a girl shoe thing? The boys shoes seem to look like regular sneakers.i may have to go check out the girls section just to see what all the hub bub is about.
