  • It varies by baby. Mine is crazy efficient so 10 min on one side was all that was needed.

  • My baby seemed super glued to my boobs the first 6 weeks, which seemed like one growth spurt blended into the next. my LOs all would do marathon feedings basically nursing non-stop from 5pm-8pm. The positive of that was they all began sleeping better at night because of it. If your boobs need a break, use a pacifier occasionally. I know you've posted several times Nd feel like you are struggling....but you can do this! If you just hang on until 6 weeks things will get so much better. I promise! GL!

  • 3 weeks was the height of our cluster/non stop feeds pretty much all day, especially frequent/constant in the evening hours. I watched a lot of Netflix Series during that time :)

  • My son is a speedy eater. It used to take him about 10 minutes to fill up. He's 6 months now and it's taking longer and he nurses both sides too
If you knew better, you'd do better.
  • 20 - 30 minutes, but sometimes she'd cluster feed and do this every hour; so that meant 30 minutes on the boob for every 30 minutes off. so yes, I spent 50% of my time with her attached.

  • No less than 45 minutes. That's not counting marathon/cluster feedings.
  • My LO is four weeks and feeds average ever two hours from start to start and average about 30 minutes.
