Frustrated about sick kids around my babe :(

My parents came to visit this weekend to see the baby and help me cook and clean the house. My brother decided at the last minute to come with his wife and their 4 month old baby. I was excited because he has not seen the house yet and I haven't seen my niece since she was a month old. Anyways, they got here and I found out their baby was sent home from daycare two days ago for a a
Fever and congestion! She was and congested as could be and coughing and sneezing all over the place. My little one isn't even two weeks old and it's not like I could kick them out after they drove 5 hours to be here, but you would think they would have been more careful. After spending a week in the NICU with DD I am so paranoid and scared about this baby getting sick, I have been so careful
Limiting visitors and taking DS places. I may be overreacting but it makes me so anxious and I'm really frustrated :(

    Ugh, that IS frustrating!  They must have been so excited to see you and your LO that they didn't even think about their baby's cold. 
    hopefully everyone's practicing good handwashing and heir LO hasn't sneezed directly on the baby!

    That's what I thought- being sent home from daycare would be a red flag to me! I am really close with my brother and he is the baby's godfather and this is the first boy baby so I think he was just so excited he couldn't wait.

    @DC2London‌ that does make me feel better- I am hoping that my milk will have what he needs to fight anything he might catch off!

    That is really frustrating. Keep them separate and make sure lots of antibacterial soap is on hand. Have fun with your family. Hugs mama! - Cookin'Quiltin
