Acupuncture anyone?

So I'm giving acupuncture a try and just had my first session yesterday.  It was CD9 and I had been having some residual brown spotting (obviously something is out of whack, so I'm doing a boatload of blood draws this month to figure it out).  So anywho... last night I then had 1 instance of fairly heavy red spotting.  Fast forward today and there was a bit more brown spotting and then just now, a bit of red spotting.  I know that acupuncture can help to get stagnant blood moving, but I don't know if that is what's going on with me or if it's just something weird and unrelated.  Anyone have experience with this?

8/14 - Bloodwork showed heterozygous MTHFR gene mutation and elevated AMH (but no cysts)
9/14 - HSG, Hysteroscopy and laparoscopy showed tubes clear, but found and removed Endometriosis, scar tissue and 2 small benign masses on my tubes.
11/14 - Daily ultrasounds confirmed that my follicles are not releasing the egg and every other day blood draws showed very low progesterone... DH's SA was near perfect
12/14 - moving onto meds!!! Hold up!!!  Surprise BFP after only taking the progesterone!  Now what do I do with all of the other meds we already paid for?!  Due at the end of August 2015 Beta#1- 4434 @ 22DPO  Beta#2 - 7335 @ 25DPO Beta #3 - 14429  @ 28DPO

    I just started acupuncture a couple weeks ago and haven't experienced that. I'm interested to see what others say. Good luck!

    First ultrasound: TWO beautiful little heartbeats!!
    Harmony: negative; level 2: babies look great and are boy/girl! :)

    Were you going to acupuncture for fertility reasons @dani_brewer or something else?  Are you not going anymore?  My husband had a session and felt meh about it, but I'm willing to try anything and everything at this point!

    I am lucky that my insurance covers unlimited visits at only a $15 copay for me.  I plan on taking full advantage of it!

    Hmmm! I started acupuncture about 2 months ago and I hve not experienced that, but this period I just had was all brown and clotty (Sorry TMI).  He gave me some herbs for it, but I haven't experienced the backa nd forth.  Maybe getting rid of the old stuff?

    March/April - IVF #1 - Antagonist Protocol - Follistim+HGH+Low Dose HCG - 11R/9M/5F - 2 8 cell 3dtransfer - BFN on April 23, 2014

    @lilmac2929  How frequently do you go? I think they recommended that I go once a week for a few sessions and then move to every other week.

    megastar007 That is exactly what I did! I think I went weekly for a bit, and then every other.  However, I am back to weekly given time of month, etc.  I really like it!!

    Good luck! I'm too chicken for it. Tried it once and had so much anxiety about going to the second appointment I figured the stress of it outweighed any benefit for me.

    The only needle that hurt a bit was one of the ones in my foot (and only in my right foot at that).  Needles don't really bother me after 3 surgeries, countless IVs, donating blood, blood work and a wild phase of piercings in college ;)
