I'm almost 38 weeks and I'm having really bad sharp pains in the right side of my stomach, hurts when I breathe, stand, get up, move. Etc. I had it before and they kept me in the hospital over night on IVs, but this time its worse. What to do.. Wait it out or what.. Is it normal..
Re: 38 weeks and sharp pain
don't ignore it. Why do you think it's not a big deal this time, if you were treated in a hospital for it before? Please explain your thought process. I am truly interested.
That said, the same thing happened to me last week, and I had to leave work because I couldn't walk or breathe. The nurse at my OB's office told me it was the baby moving into a very uncomfortable position and hurting all the muscles and things there. She told me to lie on the opposite side of the pain, drink tons of fluids, pop a few Tylenol if I felt like it, and call back if I didn't feel better in an hour or two. The advice worked, and baby slipped back into a more comfortable position.
I would definitely call or go back to the hospital. You know your body better than anyone. I know if I have to go in again I will not be coming home until they can tell me what the heck is going on, because I'm getting frustrated with the "let's wait and see." attitude from my Dr.
But stay calm girls, we know you are probably frustrated with pains or something else. But be nice to others.. Keep smiling
FWIW, I dont feel like anyone was rude. blunt? Yes. But rude? Nah.
Also, I don't think it is very nice to assume other Mamas are in pain or frustrated because they didn't answer to your liking.
Passive aggressive communication is just not my thing.
Secondly who all are you ACTUALLY referring to when you say ''our answers"
I'd pretty much taken my advice as I had been reading these BLUNT answers from months and didn't said a word.. So Relax
Take it easy .. You took it way too seriously than I meant it anyway. I'm sorry if any of you felt hurt.. Cheers
Secondly, I have no idea what the hell you're taking about. You get another A for ASSuming feelings were hurt, though! Good job!
Eta words.
Always late to the party.
