Shop for me - big girl bedding

We are planning to get DD a twin bed when she turns three and I'm looking for cute sheets and a comforter that will match what the rest of her room already is. Sje has teal/light blue walls, with pink and dark brown accents as well as some pale yellow and green. Light cream rocker, white nightstand, we'll get a white bed. She has a quilt that a friend made that is patchwork with teal, pinks, red, pale green that I'd like to incorporate sonewhere (but too slamm to use asxher main comforter) and embroidery hoops on the wall with different colors and patterns (florals, polka dots, etc) that I'd like to keep. I'm way overthinking, but want something fun that shell like, not too baby, and not too busy with everything else in the room. Even just suggestions of stores/websites would be great!

Re: Shop for me - big girl bedding

  • I would get a couple sets of sheets in solid colors from the quilt. I honestly won't worry about a warmer comforter, unless you keep the house really cold or she already uses one. We had one for DS1 that he never kept on anyway. Now we have really warm feety pajamas and Aden&Anais dream weave blankets for both kids. Works fine in New England winters.

  • I agree about not getting a comforter right now. I got ds one when he moved to a twin bed and the comforter stays in his closet. He prefers a small quilt.

I've found good deals on sheets at Bed bath and beyond or target.

  • Do you have a TJ Maxx Homegoods store?  That's one of my favorite places to look for bedding.
