Tummy time

What age did you start tummy time? What kinds of things do your little ones like?

    We did/do tummy time on daddy and me since birth. Tummy time on hard surfaces, like @DaisyBlinks‌ said, after cord stump falls off.
    ETA: we don't really do a lot if hard surface tummy time and LO can lift his head up pretty well. He had nearly full control of his head/neck and he's only 7 weeks old. I think mostly babies will do it on their own when they're trying to look around.

    LO is almost 3 weeks old and we do it on her play mat daily and well as lay her on her tummy on me or DH. She likes laying on her tummy on us. She also doesn't mind it as much on the playmat if we have the mobile music playing.

    We have done it since our first day home on us, but L had a lot of head control as soon as she arrived. We started tummy time on the activity may after the cord fell off, we do a few minutes until she gets frustrated and then give her a break.

    LOs stump fell off on day five so that when I started it. My first had ptorticollis and I don't want to go throught that again so I got my LO started as soon as I could

    We only do it a few times a week. He hates it yet is still so strong with his neck and propping himself up.

    My DD does tummy time on me. I tired putting her on the floor... it doesn't last long she rather be on me or DH.
    She has amazing head control now and has been holding her head up well. So im not concerned. Just doing what suits her needs and comfort best. Every baby is different.

    We only get good time when she does it on DH or I, she screams on the floor... She'll tolerate being propped over the boppy with supervision, but she hates that too... She figured out how to roll back onto her back very fast so we'll put her on the play mat and then she'll scream until she rolls herself... She's got pretty good head control so I'm not worried.

    We do it until she seems to be frustrated and gets fussy, depends ing on her mood could be 1 minute or 10.

    Our ped said you can do tummy time from day 1. We started the day we got home from the hospital. The first couple of times DD hated it but she seems to like it now (she is 4 wks old). She hasn't fussed at all during tummy time lately. We usually do it for 5 minutes at a time. I usually read to her during tummy time which she seems to enjoy.
