I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but Dolly Parton has an organization that will send your LO a free book every month! It's called Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. I signed my daughter up the day she was born. (9/3) and got her first book at the end of October. I thought it was a neat program and wanted to share!

We did this with my older son and it has been wonderful.

This is really an amazing program. I signed my dd up when she was 6 months old. I actually signed her up through the library and found out our local united way pays for the postage. I do know if you have a post office box they won't mail the books to it.
