Burpcloths

I heard that I should get very absorbent burp cloths for during breastfeedinng especially when side lying in bed to catch drippage. Does anyone know where I can get some that have have a terry cloth side? My mom picked me up a pack of Gerber diapers so those will work too.

    I sometimes used tea towels or baby bath towels. I found size (larger = better) more important than absorbency.

    I found that old cloth diapers they give you at the hospital work great!

    Etsy. But if you are wanting a cheap solution then just buy some hand towels.

    The Gerber prefolds work great. It's the thin two knit layer ones that I see everywhere that are really cute, but not effective while breastfeeding. If they have a waterproof layer it would help not having leak through, but finding something more absorbent would be better.

    I exclusively used the Gerber cloth diapers with DD. The "cute" burp cloths are just for show, and are not very absorbent.

    I like the muslin Burpy Bib from aden+anais. It even has snaps to attach to baby when they are drooling.
